How2Tame #4: Dilophosaur
Welcome viewers to another episode of How2Tame, where I, Zeta, teach you how to tame creatures. Starring in this episode is the Dilophosaur. I will walk you through it.
1. Execute multiple animals, but not ones that will deal a lot of damage or ones that run away fast, so that leaves Dodos, Pegomastax, and Lystrosaurus. These should be your targets.
2. Do not cook the meat. Instead, spot a Dilophosaurus that you can share this meat with.
3. Please bola the Dilophosaur, so that it cannot scratch you or claw your eyes out. Now strike it with a club repeatedly. Do not, we repeat, do NOT remove this bola!
4. Once it is knocked out, Feed your Dilophosaur meat. If it loses torpor too fast, make sure you have some Narcotic ready because black berries do not work on carnivores.
5. Your Dilophosaur is tamed once the taming bar reaches 100! Name it and remember to feed it daily.
I hope this helped, and keep an eye out for my 5th entry, coming soon! It will be about the not-so-majestic-but-great-anyway Moschops! My previous episodes are listed below. Happy taming!
Episodes
1. Dodo
2. Parasaur
3. Lystrosaurus
HOW TO TAME A DILO 1(kill : dodos or paras sadly) 2 (punch in the head so I get spit) 3 (Feed it meat and DONE
They can be very dangerous however if you take a lot of them then you have a unstoppable army. These are surprising easy to tame however when I first got the game I was scared of them but now I got one and it saved my life 2 times
They make good "ground turrets".
Tame a decent trike/parasaur and lvl health and put it on passive, then aquire several dilos set to agressive, then set them to follow thw trike/parasaur. Tada, a few of these and your base is pretty safe from snaller predators such as raptors, sarcos, compys, troodons, and if they are high enough lvl terror birds and kapros as well. Titanoboasa are still dangerous because of the narcotic venom
This is a must have for the early game, this was the second Dino I tamed right after the dodo, it’ll help with low level predator encounters and if you breed them enough they can take out packs of RAPTORS for you,
Don't scare gust go for fight and feed meat in inventory and your dilo is tamed
They are very easy to tame, you can knock one out with your fists and just put 2-3 pieces of raw meat in their inventory
Hi I am going to inform on how to tame a dilo first you make a bat and get meat from copy or dodo then wack it with your bat till it’s knocked out finally you put the meat in it’s inventory and wait
My preference over most dinos because if you have a pack of 12-20 then you can easily take down some low to mid level predators… what I did was tame all the dillos i’d need them tame a trike and when I got a saddle for it I would make all the dillos follow me on it and we will be an unstoppable force… one of my fillips is named “Alabamian cousin” up For my Alabamain cousin
Dilos are really good for beginners becuase a pack of 3-5 can kill sarcos. I would recommend getting 4-16 if your a beginner because they"re good for base defence early on. A pack of 16 could kill sarcos can brontos,i would pnly use them for base defence early on. Pls like so other people can see!!!
Pachys and dilly's are the same size you can ride pachys and Not dilly's (I'm calling them dilly's because it switches it to fill)
Super dangerous in packs. Three. THREE! Three dilos with at least 120 to 200 Health came when I was riding my level 10 raptor and they killed him. Up=paying respects to him and avenge him (Raptory III, since my other two ‘Raptory’ raptors died.) Down=YOU ARE SO RUDE!
I hope they rot. Oh, wait, they did. I avenged him, but still.
Very useful starter tame! A high-leveled Rex was terrorizing the area and was approaching my camp I was like “They are stupid they think they will win!” I ordered my own pack of lvl 200 dilos to attack the Rex while I stand back and shot it with my longneck rifle. The Rex ended up losing and none of my Dilos died and I wasn’t injured at all! Good job Amy, Aki, Arian and Kakashi!
If these were more realistic they would literally just be a faster carno
I have a dilophosaur named dilila and is awesome she has saved from 2 carbonemys’s already pls tame btw level their health a lot
I would only attack one. More than one Dilo in the early game is dangerous, but it could be a good start Dino other than the Dodo. I find them on the beach.
