For the Pursuit where you are to hunt and kill three of these, pay CLOSE ATTENTION to any and all Dinos behind them, my hunt ended HORRIBLY because I shot a level 14 pred and I left the 3 I already tamed back at camp. Always know your target and whatever is behind it

They spit first, so before you attack, get its attention, let it spit, jump or dodge or whatever, then go and attack/tame it. There are usually multiple together as well so be prepared. They are easy to take out as well. A couple stones from a slingshot and you don’t even have to take damage.

Usually level 10 and lower:

Knockout: 2-5 arrows

Taming: 10-20 meats

I prefer to take eggs from hostile Dino’s like hissy spiting thing here, or from passive mobs like the dodo. :)

When you want to tame one if there is 2 then kill the lower level one for meat then dodge the spit by moving or jumping around then hit it with a club until it is knocked out then feed it the meat and narcoberries until tamed

To slow and too stupid to adventure with, leave them home. Awesome as guard dogs for your base however.

The dilo really deserves a turret mode then it would be a hole lot more useful

Will spit poision at you when it raises it’s thrill. If engaging without a mount dodge spit before you fight, and be ready to dodge again in about 5 seconds

These guys spit at you then attack but watch out for the babies

I have a pack of 5 and we have taken down carnos sarcos and turtles easily.

If you want to reach your max number of tames and not waste any, kill your dilos. This is easier if you didn’t name them affectionately.

The only thing you need toknow about these dudes is that there AMAZING IN EVERY WAY POSSIBLE X3

If you have a spear of any kind you can kill it pretty easily. I killed a level 16 that way.

I once had a baby Dilo who wanted rex kibble and I was like, WTF U NEVER SAW A REX! I GET MY BABY DODO BECAUSE IT WANTS RAPTOR KIBBLE AND I HAVE A LVL 231. If u harvest baby creatures they give prime meat. I know right, sounds dumb but so crazy it’s true. Up this so everyone can see this.

My dilophasaur (Dillweed) just murdered a Tek Parasaur. At first, I was upset because I was going to tame him, but then I checked his inventory and found electronics, element powder and scrap metal!

My tribe mate formed an army of like 30 of these dudes, only one lived a thero attack. The thero was barely heart in the end.😢

Make sure you have meat if you try to tame this beast because when it wakes up it’s gonna try to kill you!

They are Not as effektive as one Expert. Hab 7 100+lvl in my wood base in aggressive and still got reidet
