With your kapro pick up a wild one and it offers (some)protection from titanboas it takes the bite

I have like 12 of them and are very nice for the start of the game .HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

They are terrible in the wild. Easily taken out. But with a club or your fists, knock them out and tame your own pack. They are AMAZING when they’re tamed!!

These, especially in packs, can be used for early meat and hide.

Just use a catapult and shoot it three times and it will be knocked out then feed it 3-4 raw meat and 1-2 narcoberries and you’ve got yourself a trusty companion

Dilos are a easy tame they only need meat to tame

Put a bunch of them next to some lystros. Lystros level them up and soon u have an army

Tame one when you are a beach noob and keep it with you, if a carno or raptor try to attack you whistle attack on it then unfollow and run. Easy early game tame.

Okay, they do not have very much health so you can pretty much just punch them unconscious- even if they shoot poison at you- then feed them 4-7 pieces of raw meat. A easy tame.

Put it on turret mode and stand it on your base it shoots acid at enemies without moving very useful if you don’t have actual turrets also when you get bola or slingshot tame every dilo you see

I breed these things all the time I’ve had hundreds and I level em up and sell them as guard dogs

Get a bunch of females for eggs and produce kibble for quarry dinos (doedicurus and ankylo)

There’s a pack of dilos near my base that’s why I have at least 5 dilos and there’s 1 more dilo in the pack but very time I try to kill it or tame it it runs away into the water

When on Hard mode when it’s a level 450 it’s 100% gonna kill you if your a level 1-35 it’s like a mini Raptor...

When you encounter the dilo it will try to start a battle most of the time by following you then spitting at you or

Sometimes it will leave you alone

Just get either a Bola or a tranq arow and just feed him some raw meat

For the Pursuit where you are to hunt and kill three of these, pay CLOSE ATTENTION to any and all Dinos behind them, my hunt ended HORRIBLY because I shot a level 14 pred and I left the 3 I already tamed back at camp. Always know your target and whatever is behind it
