Just a tip for everyone who has tamed a Raptor.Dilos don't attack you when mounted on a raptor.Even if they are in pack.Once who unmount your raptor they will spit on you and kill you.

I killed one with my fists at lvl 1, 1 with two stone arrows, and in the future, still today tho, am gonna kill another with stone arrows. THREE IS TOO MANY.

If you encounter a dilophosaurus early in game and want to kill it for resources such as meat then use a bow & arrow at medium range and spam stone axe during combat since spamming causes fast knockbacks that makes it difficult for the creature to attack you

How to deal with them in early game: If one is chasing you, run past several peaceful creatures. The Dilos sometimes attack those instead of you. Another way to deal with them is to curve around them while they spit at you. Hit them with an axe or pickaxe while they use their melee attacks.

Great pet get them to 200 Heath then upgrade damage it is an easy tame

If you see a dilo attack no mercy their great for hide and meat

They can be very op once i was attacked by a pterasour cuz I took its egg and a raptor and I had 3 dilos and they killed the raptor and pterasour but died from an alpha raptor and they were protecting me even when I was dead.

Every single time I log off and don’t have a home, I die to a dilo. The end.

So at the start of the game I was sooooo freaking scared of these things bc I thought they where raptors with venom... little did I know by lvl 10 I killed like 5 within less than 10 minutes...

When taming a dilo when their frills go out that means they are about to spit venom you either want to put your shield up or move out of the way

Get a bola and then hit me With a club

for me they only poison and attack me in important moments like finding something I need or when I come close to defeating something big and high levelled, then they come and say “sup my name is Ima Ruinyourday Withpoison”

I have 2 Dilo I just tamed a female and lost my male😡😭

Keep hitting them. This means that they don’t have time to spit poison at you.

Make a slingshot and movement speed is 106 make sure and derctly attack and run forward sowly and hit with slingshot many times and make sure you have max to max 3 slingshot and put meat in the inventory max to max 24 or 13 for mobile players

So when u see them go near them until they are done spitting then u will get hurt then hit them til there dead ( great for one )

I have it easy to use your hand torch to hit them they burn easy and faster kill and you still get the meat. The baby's ones as well.

Dilophosauruses open their frills whenever they attack
