After you get yourself a projectile weapon, these guys become virtually harmless. If you find yourself without the proper weapon, they're slow, so you can easily avoid their acid.

The dilophosar spits out blinding venom but jump when this happens then charge it so it won't use its blinding venom and it would bite you but you can take the damage for a good amount of time so just keep hitting it with any thing including your fists

I would highly recommend this as a first time tame. I’d recommend crafting a club for it. When I was new I found one alone and waited until it attacked a dodo, then sneaked up on it and clubed it until it was knocked out. They also only need 3-5 raw meat to tame. My first ever tame was a level 56 dilophosaurus called Greg and he really helped me fend of compys and other dilos

first-time players beware, these things are vile, they wander around the starting area patrolling for newbies to spit venom at… directly in their face. my tip? run for your if it’s coming up to you.

For all the people who die in the beginning by a dillo after you tame like 10 or 15 you could take down stuff like bronsures and trisartops. sorry if don’t read right i was tryied when I wrote it. and I qote when I encountered on I got rekted but you like them after you know them. Please have your following distants at low or medium because if it’s at high or higher your Dino will not follow you for a long time and if it’s at lowest your Dino will follow you even wen you move just a little

If you don't they can be pack hunters

if your new to the game and you see one just run don't go near them

If you guys are a new player that spawns in a beach, try to avoid these guys as much as possible, and try to get a spear first if you want to challenge one.

these guys are pretty easy to kill when you get some metal gear.

This is why you never leave your dinos alone on passive, if you leave a tamed titanosaur on passive next to a wild dilo, the dilo would eventually kill the titanosaur, so always leave them on neutral

If your new the best weapon to kill these guys really quick is a spear for nowstarters

Just walk around it in circles and hit it. Best way to kill.

Ok, so dilos aren’t a big threat for good players, but when your at a low level, there a pain in the butt. If you dodge their venom there really easy to beat. They don’t attack very fast, but there still dangerous if they get you with there venom. Luckily, you can craft a antidote for their venom.

In the beginning of yur game, get a pack of lystrosaurs (if they spawn where u spawn) to protect yur self from dilos. About 4-5 Shld do well until u r able to get more powerful tames.

These godang menaces to society are the worst thing ever, every time I'm trying to build my base either one of my donos is being killed by a dilo or all of them are running to kill it because they're on neutral. They slow you down, they make it impossible to see and their poison damages you. In a sever with super low xp rates, these guys are essential, sure, but that doesn't make up for the 9/10 times when they're just useless and unnecessary. Man I was in an early game like just started playing and then this 😤 itiot killed me. Dilo of course and I hate them. So I’m now started ark mobile and I made a spear so I was set. I waited for these itiots to hit me and he spit shrek at me. So I threw a spear through his mouth

How to kill dilo.

1. They be toxiic in your face be toxic intheir face to.

2. Bola them or bow to the head.

3. If it does not kill in yous your fabricated pistol.

4. If its three get a rocket launcher.

5. Watch them ragdolls fly.😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂😆

This thing can help you with lots but DO NOT fight a velociraptor with him or her on your own have about 5 dilos to win, DO NOT DO THIS AS A NOOB 🦅🦅
