Not hard to dodge the ranged attacked but if you are just walking to backwards and to your side it will predict your path and spit to suit, just walk backwards once it isnt higher than you

Easy to kill in groups of 1-3, annoying as hell when they show up while you're fighting larger animals.

If you run into a pack of Dilos just turn around and run/sprint away to your base or weave around trees or boulders.

People say that they’re really dangerous early game especially in a small pack. I disagree. When I was just a beginner at ARK, I saw a pack of them and easily took the out. If you’re confident, you can easily take out a pack of them with a stone hatchet or even your fists. Just don’t get cocky!!! Getting cocky is the death of you in ARK!!! Especially against Dilos(and Raptors!!!). I cannot stress this enough!!!

Take a bunch of those bastards and they'll kill most other dinos

Low levels: run

High levels: easy peasy lemon squeezie, beat it with a sword but, the lemon WILL squeeze lemon juices into your eyes. 😆

Because of how common they are the can be a problem early game but if you get a few spears early on the shouldn’t be to much of a problem

Ya so I had this guy as a pet, his name was Steve, and I lost him one day but my brother told me how I could request him today. Anyway this guy comes back and I’m astonished he survived the raptors and everything, but he WONT follow me! No matter what I do! Has anyone else had this problem? Up if yes, down if no.

Man, I love these guys. They are frickin easy to tame, and they SPIT POISON! EPIC! I once had one named Steve, but, he got lost because I saw a Raptor and ran away like a coward. Now I feel like such a jerk, I abandoned Steve with that monster.😭😭😭

If you find a female,hit it when it poisons you and it runs away and then you can kill it

Since I saw a pack of wild dilos all about level 5-25 take down three level 8 level 6 and level 43 raptors I've never looked at these little beach varmints the same way...

I was on my way back home and I came across one and I had not even a knife or anything sharp to defend myself with so I took a rock and hit it down a hill and it was dead and I got the lather off of it

I was trying to tame a Raptor once but these little guys killed me.

I hate these things. When you just started a game all the do is terrorize you.

I have a pack of about 25 of these and they took down a Therizinosaurus in about 3 seconds!

These donors are very annoying the usually stay in packs and when they see you the spit venom and you can’t run or fight.😡😡

In real life, Dilophosaurus lacked the frill and poisonous saliva, but at least the two head crests are accurate.

If hes ready to spit you gotta move the other way you are moving (when he spits) and then go all in
