When a spino came my dilo spit at it so my other creatures can finish it but she died

Commonly done with excess Dilos and Raptors is to make a fight pit/arena, set them all on aggressive, and use an Argie or larger to drop wild creatures into the pen. These guys in a pack become powerful killers.

weigh it down and set it to aggressive for a budget turret

Beginner invincibility (does not work with underwater enemies) :

-bow and arrows

- a pteranodon or two

-mounted parasaur

-a freakin’ army of dilos

I had a raptor problem and got like 12 of these guys and shredded the poor raptor and only lost one dilo

Use them for fish and tame more Dino’s that eat fish

literally saw 2 take down a sarco

So I just tamed this, it was my fave Dino ever. Ten seconds later a frikin Rex attacked and killed all my stuff... I lost my best friend

Good all-around buddies. Carries a decent amount, but it's true strength lies in poison barf. It slows down enemies, blinds them, and drains health off enemies! Next time you're looking to recruit, that beach bob with that lv184 dilo suddenly looks like a good idea...

When you were trying to kill one use a spear or a slingshot and allsorts of things let’s just use spear while hitting them it will push them back move to the left while doing it so they can’t get an angle on you can’t shoot you thank you x

Good beginner dino and super easy to tame just be careful when they are in packs

I just clubbed it then fed him. Was tamed in under 5 mins

If you want to tame Dilophosaur try this:

(Without bola)

Step 1: Craft slingshot and get ammo(stones)

Step 2: Hit Dilophosaur using the slingshot you crafted earlier(Step 1)

Step 3: Shoot the Dilophosaur using the slingshot while moving back(Do this until the Dilophosaur gets knocked out)

Step 4: While unconscious put raw meat in his inventory

Step 5: Enjoy the Diliphosaur

Step 1 : get equipment you'll need : a club, and 5-20 peices of meat. Step 2 : find a good high lvl like 50 or higher and start hitting it with your club to knock it out Step 3 : once it's knocked out then put the 5-20 peices of meat into its inventory and make sure it had enough torpor and if it doesn't then get some narcotics or narcotics berries. Step 4 : once it tames then go hunting carbyonemys, dodos, lystros, compys, and other dilophs to get more meat for it and to get more xp for it..

How to tame:

Get bow

Shoot dilo 80 with stone arrows

Give it meat

AND YOU TAMED IT

There's no one way to handle these, they're pretty much a non-issue if you have a crossbow.

I recommend crafting a bow and arrow and shooting them from afar. As far as I know no they cannot jump far if at all so make sure that the rock is only climbable by jumping (no natural ramps) or they will kill you. They will run into the rock directly below you and try to spit but since they cannot spit vertically you will be safe be careful aiming when they are below you so as not to waste arrows they will at times walk away shortly leaving an opening TAKE THE SHOT! This refers to killing a dilo for taming use the rock method but with a bola and club DO NOT ATTRACT IT THIS TIME! It is harder to aim with a bola !

They took out one of those turtle things on the beach! They saved my life from a dil right before in a second! Defo worth it!!
