An easy way to knock a dilo is to get on a tall rock and shoot it with a sling shot. It will take about 3 to 12 shots in the head. Make sure to keep them an neutral while near Dino's like Trikes. They are good for protecting your base and yourself while hunting or gathering supplies.

I’ve had like 6 of these tamed at once lol

I use my tamed dilos as turrets. I make a hole in the wall and stick their head through it. Then I set them to turret mode and along with my plant species Xs and the two kentros I put by my gate, they protect the base really well.

To battle this you gotta get somethin like spear and kill it and Dodge the poison and to escape tell your Dinos to kill it and go a little far away (to tame feed it and wait then feed it again if your dinosaur is dangerous make it unconscious and then put meat)

My friend stole some eggs stole a Jeep and one of these idiots out of nowhere and killed him

This little butthole likes tou eat your tames while your offline

They are a pain in the but. They might not be that worth it. But if you want one. TRAP IT!!!

Step 1 kill at lest 9 dodos step2 craft a club or tranq arrows then look at it and step3 open inventory then transfer all your meat or stuff good luck 🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖

These are Really annoying for Beginners, but here’s How to Tame A Dilophosaur, first find a Dilo you Want, they spawn on Beaches, Then use A Bola on It, make sure You have Something to knock it out, fists, club, slingshot, etc, so then knock it out, when it’s out feed it raw meat then you have a Dilophosaur! They are fine at fighting and fine at Defending, I tame these when I’m Starting Out.

If you see these things..... oh be prepared for some all out hell BUT if there fifty or more of them then you just ded...and no dilo will miss you......ever.

There’s a tip about the hell spawns they are

Take club bang their head that should work.

On safer side use a bola. Don't stare them in the eyes. They spit on you. Even slings should work. Don't waste traqs on em.

Feed raw meet and Ta-da you have a dilo.

*Repeat* have a bunch of them in early game

I once had 26 of these all were 30+ levels and they can kill a T-rex, therizinosaurus and a spinosaurus within 20 second

P.s just add attack damage and health

All you need to know : second most annoying creature

All I did is trap it in a bola then punched it until its unconcious then fed it raw meat the dilo is pesky but kinda strong when another dilo attacked me it viciously chased the dilo and I was kinda proud but then it can be killed easily

If you want a high level dilo I would recommend you bring a bola and tranqu arrows in case it gets out and for low levels just keep on hitting with a club several times but if you want to play it safe take a bola with you

I’ve tamed one of these , just tame a dodo and make sure it’s lvl is low enough to be able to punch it and deal dmg , let the dodo assist a bit but calm the dodo down so it doesn’t murder the dilo, AND SHOVE RAW MEAT DOWN ITS THROAT TRUST ME U PROB HAVE ENOUGH TIME BEFORE IT WAKES UPPPPP

USUALLY you just punch them a few times and they run away

Great for early hunting parties get like 4 or 5 and you can do a bit don’t go after many predators just herbivores like carbon or parasaur
