How to breed dilo

1. Get male and female dilo

2. Put them in a small house or room so they are not to far from each other

3. Put them on wander and whistle stop

4 wait

5 they layed a egg put it by a fire it will get too cold or too hot

6 wait until it is hatched

7 claim it put all the raw meat you have in its inventory ( unless you want it to die)

8 wait for it to grow up

9 yay you have new dilo friend

Make a slingshot and movement speed is 106 make sure and derctly attack and run forward sowly and hit with slingshot many times and make sure you have max to max 3 slingshot and put meat in the inventory max to max 24 or 13 for mobile players

FEED IT FISH! It’s favorate food is raw fish.

Don't know why people use bolas or something like that... You can knock it out with your fists or a club a club is better though, put 1 stack of meat wait for it to eat up and you have got yourself

Find yourself a dilophosaur then U bola it and smack it some throw some raw meat and wait ! Pretty simple

Extremely easy to tame! Just craft a club, or a slingshot if you wanna shoot from a distance, but don’t forget the stones, of course! And if you want, you can punch it with your fists, and try to dodge the toxic spit, also the amount of meat depends on the level. But maybe 10-25 meat is required. When you knock it out, put the meat in it’s inventory, then it should tame up quickly, no narcotics required. You can tame like 100 of those and make a splendid, unstoppable army of dilophosaurus!-Pablo

So when u see them go near them until they are done spitting then u will get hurt then hit them til there dead ( great for one )

I just have to say dilos are really useful at any point in the game I currently have a pack of 5 and they dominate I just have to hit once and fall back and watch the carnage

Step 1: Craft bola (x2), bat (x2)

Step 2: Find dilo

Step 3: bola dilo

Step 4: bat dilo till knocked out

Step 5: open dilo incentory and put about 10-20 meat in.

Step 6: wait, dont let it get attacked

Step 7: dilo ready

Build whole army of these, invest heavily in health first. They are op in large numbers and will attck anything u tell them to.

Dilos are usually together finding a lone one is not rare but a very good catch always tame an alone one or if it separates from a pack then u can tame the others as they separate and u have 1-4 dilos tamed

How to breed (for the guy that asked)

1. Get a male and a female

2. Make a small pen that will fit them both (it must be small enough make sure they aren’t more than a tail length from each other)

3. For mobile enable wander on them both for anything else enable wander/mating on them both

4. Red Hearts will appear on top of them wait a little until the female lays a fertile egg

5. Once egg is laid IMMEDIATELY pick it up

6. Run to camp fire, light it and put egg under

7. If the egg says it’s too hot turn off fire, if to cold build and light another fire

8. When it’s at a perfect temp wait for it to hatch WARNING: THE TEMP MAY CHANGE MAKE SURE IT DOSENT OVER HEAT OR FREEZE!!!

9. One hatched claim it

10. FEED IT MEAT

Now u have baby! It need to be fed ALOT so have a good stack of food for it. Use reg meat not fish meat cuz fish doesn’t feed him as good. it will eat on its own. Also it won’t attack until it’s an adult, but it will run around. turn OFF wander! Hope this is helpful thx for reading

How to tame a level 30 dilo

What you need:

- 2 Bolas

- A Club

- Raw Meat (30)

- Narcoberries (40) / Narcotics (4)

1 Get it to start chasing you, then move backwards and throw your bola at it

2 Hit it with the club from as far away as possible as it can still hit you

3 If it is not knocked out after 20 seconds, throw another bola

4 when it is knocked out, put meat in its inventory, and then force feed it narcotics when it's torpor bar is low

5 after 10-20 real life minutes, you have a level 40-55 dilo!

Relatively easy for new players, and very useful for even the more experienced playersjust continue to walk backwards while hitting with a club and remember to dodge the poison spit

I had my game on casual mode and tamed a lvl 14 and lvl 19 dilo (I think) they became lvl 19 and 23 respectively. There was a time I was building my tatch base and a lvl 3 sarco attacked me but my dilo's were on neutral and somehow destroyed the sarco. Please note that the sarco was lvl 3.

How to raise a good dilly pt. 2 (thanks for the support)

1. Locate a dilo they are found everywhere accept for the redwoods and snowy mountains yes they are in the swamp

2. Kill any other creature that is a possible threat to your dilo

3. Knock out the dilo by clubbing it. These guys aren’t even worth wasting a bola on

4. Place meat inside there inventory when they are out.

5. Parry your dilly with other dilly’s and raptors too.

6 take him or her or them out hunting they are good in packs alongside raptors

7. Upgrade speed because they are quite slow

I hope you and your dilly are having a ton of fun together hunting and having a good time

They are great to take fast to tame as well but one will not be enough for the dilo to do some damage a platoon(4-10)is needed..

When facing a tantiboa 3 of these dinos will kill no doubt they are great friends and battlemates loyal too

Left these roaming on an Island. Send you blind as a fat hairy rat in the light when spat on by one of these. Ran into a tree and got attacked by compy's. Then the flying Ant's. A fascinating game to escape too.
