So at the start of the game I was sooooo freaking scared of these things bc I thought they where raptors with venom... little did I know by lvl 10 I killed like 5 within less than 10 minutes...

I was in beach,then a kapro jumped to attack me. My dilo (Dennis)came out and killed him :D

HOW TO TAME A DILO

step 1: sadly kill dodos for meat (any other meat might work)

Step 2: knock it out with a club (use hands if club breaks)

Step 3: feed it meat

Step 4:wait

Voila a new tamed dilo!

(Make sure to hit it in the face repeatedly so it can’t spit)

Hope this was helpful they make great pets!

Honestly the only things that I use these little guys for is:

1. Fodder

2. Meat grinders (let them loose on any unsuspecting creatures)

3. House pet (I think they are adorable, even if you can’t really do much with them, I usually have 4 on roam in my house)

P.s. I don’t mean to allow “digi-animal” cruelty (it’s just that they are really good distractions if you need to run)

Keep on punching. They’re knocked out easily.

Alright these nasty guys are really good for hunting but are a bit slow.the best way to knock them out is if you come at them head on and just bombard them with fists and or clubs trust me it works. They’ll be knocked out in seconds. Hi once you’ve done that you can then feed them 4x raw meat and you’re done.

I started playing 2 days ago and I'm in love with these guys. I have a pack of 8 and I had the courage to go deep into the forest. Then guess what happened. I was attacked by a carno and a pack of 3 raptors. And my Dilos took care of all of them and not a scratch on me. Best early game 'Packs'. Tame them they're good.

P.S- btw i was riding a trike.

I once had a dilo named yary. Two minutes after I tamed him he killed a Sarco that was attacking me. He died but so did the sarco. He is forever with us. Rip yary.

So if your in the beginners level, I would suggest to go for the dilos that are alone. I wouldn't suggest using a bola, (it is a waste) and just club it a couple of times. It will fight back so try and time your hits. Then once it's unconscious, go into its inventory and put in some meat ( raw or cooked). The tame doesn't take very long. Once it wakes up you have your self a little guardian! Hope this helped!

When taming a dilo when their frills go out that means they are about to spit venom you either want to put your shield up or move out of the way

Dilos on wander are great for patrolling a yard and dealing with wild critters that break in, like argies or snakes, while a few set to follow will give low-level survivors a chance to run to safety while they keep attacking critters busy.

Get their hp up to 1k and put the rest of their levels into melee and they can even give raptors and sarcos a hard time, while few extra levels into carry weight will allow your security team to also harvest some extra meat and hide for you.

okay, so i like to take these guys bcuz they’re so easy and great for hunting. i tamed like 8 at one point. the highest level i got one up to was 41 then i attacked a trike not knowing 4 more were around. anywho, tranquil arrow (1 or 2) plus raw meat (5 min) & the toxic dino is urs. rip dillie <\3

Useful for early game and late game.

Early game: tame a 5-15 leveled 100+ and they'll keep you safe from almost anything. (Easy to tame for beginners too!) Bola them and punch them and feed them raw meat.

Late game: tame as many as you want and put them wherever you want on your base area and put them on turret mode! You immediately got acid spitting turrets.

Get a bola and then hit me With a club

Dilos and dodos are some the first tames you should get when starting on a server there kibble is the gateway to other useful tames.

For teaming you want to get up and close with his face so he doesn’t try poisoning you then give him five pieces of me then you have one but if you’re just starting out do the same thing get three make sure that you got three😀

You can use tranq arrows or a dart gun

Level 1-20 will take 1 tranq arrow to knock out and levels 20-50 will take 5
