When hatching your first baby DONT

Just a tip for everyone who has tamed a Raptor.Dilos don't attack you when mounted on a raptor.Even if they are in pack.Once who unmount your raptor they will spit on you and kill you.

Do a translator arrow to the head. Have meat

Bring some meat and a club on adventures and take a few of these to protect you if you don’t want your better Dino’s to get hurt

If you encounter a dilophosaurus early in game and want to kill it for resources such as meat then use a bow & arrow at medium range and spam stone axe during combat since spamming causes fast knockbacks that makes it difficult for the creature to attack you

Great pet get them to 200 Heath then upgrade damage it is an easy tame

My method of taming is simply hitting them with my fist , i get soo close to the dilo and hit it and even if they spit poison it doesn't hit me . Try my doing it lol it might work tell me if it does work on ya

Tame 5-6 of them

Make them aggressive

Enable them wander around your base

Boom! Op hide farm and security

I killed one with my fists at lvl 1, 1 with two stone arrows, and in the future, still today tho, am gonna kill another with stone arrows. THREE IS TOO MANY.

How to deal with them in early game: If one is chasing you, run past several peaceful creatures. The Dilos sometimes attack those instead of you. Another way to deal with them is to curve around them while they spit at you. Hit them with an axe or pickaxe while they use their melee attacks.

I had a group of 8 and I took down a carno, 3 trikes, 2stegos and a BRONT. These are must have dinos.

If you see a dilo attack no mercy their great for hide and meat

If paired with a raptor they can be a good hunting party because their spit slows Dino’s and the raptors will finish the job with the dilos helping I have killed many with this strat including a bronto I don’t recommend taking on brontosaurus’s with them but it can be done

Dont make these spit turrets if youre low level. I made 5 dilos spit turrets, but they pissed off 2 mated trikes and destroyed my poor thatch base :(

Get a pack of 10 dilos(high level dilos are easy to tame) when you are low level, just use your club while going around these or slingshot, once tamed set them to aggressive and keep eye on them , easy hide farm

At a high level, this thing can do like 400 damage on level forty if you put your points to it. It’s so easy to tame it is definitely worth it to tame it.

If you want a dilo army find very high levels and you can use the trang darts to instantly knock them out.and I had an army of them and lost them to an alpha raptor):

Sprint at it so that it doesn’t have time to spit at you, then knock it out

How to tame dilo

1.get meat about 26 pieces

2.find dilo

3.knockout dilo

4.go in to dilo inventory

5.put in the meat

6.wait….wait….wait…

7.yay,you’ve tamed a dilo for your self
