What are tips for dilophosaur? Tips and strategies for dilophosaur in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
To the guy who said Dilophosaurus, “in real life,” could spit acid, there was no evidence that they spit acid or had frills. Those small Dilophosaurs/Jurrasic World’s Dilophosaurs were twice as small as the real life Dilophosaurus. The real life Dilophosaurus, living in the Jurrasic Period, could destroy a car. They just belive in Jurrasic World.
After you get yourself a projectile weapon, these guys become virtually harmless. If you find yourself without the proper weapon, they're slow, so you can easily avoid their acid.
The dilophosar spits out blinding venom but jump when this happens then charge it so it won't use its blinding venom and it would bite you but you can take the damage for a good amount of time so just keep hitting it with any thing including your fists
Since they are easy tames tame a bunch of females and a single male for the eggs. Their kibble is preffered by anklos and dodigs.
You need a lot of meat (40+) to keep these alive if they're babies when breeding them. RIP Danny and Donlan I love you :_[
Here’s how to breed dilo you get a male and female and get them stuck in a cage or something and the you enable wandering and watch the magic happen and after a while a fertilized dilo egg is ready
Get up and personal don’t let it get distant
Just because someone said not to try to kill them with your fists, The next one I see I will. You can beat these at level 1. Do not be worried if there is three, although I would recommend using a primitive pick instead. If you are above level 30 kill all three with your fists. That way you do not have to waste ammo/durability.
It’s just funny when you oneshot them with a simple pistol to the head and it ragdolls like crazy
Sorry for grammar I woke up 7 minutes ago
For all the people who die in the beginning by a dillo after you tame like 10 or 15 you could take down stuff like bronsures and trisartops. sorry if don’t read right i was tryied when I wrote it. and I qote when I encountered on I got rekted but you like them after you know them. I tried to get away but I was near a cliff and got spit on and ran off I did not mean to through
I would highly recommend this as a first time tame. I’d recommend crafting a club for it. When I was new I found one alone and waited until it attacked a dodo, then sneaked up on it and clubed it until it was knocked out. They also only need 3-5 raw meat to tame. My first ever tame was a level 56 dilophosaurus called Greg and he really helped me fend of compys and other dilos
Kill and eat to level up yourself and your dinos.
Two good slingshots to the face and you can easily make it unconscious then you can tame it
Just bash it over the head with a club as long as its not high level if you're a fresh character. Then just feed it a couple dodos worth of meat (bring more just in case) and it'll be the easiest carnivore to tame and its insanely good if you have a pack of them early game.
