Chapter 2
- The Nazgûl
Fire. Ash. Destruction. That was all that remained at emberfall. Joe sent in many troopers to salvage what they could.
“Commander!” A trooper came running.
“What is it?” Joe said sensing the urgency in his voice.
“We found a recorded message sent by the enemy commander to his troops.”
“Play it for me.”
The recording started.
“If anyone is hearing this recording, I would presume Joe, that means bad news for you. I am General Grant. You may remember me after I waged war on you on ragnarok. You also, quite mistakenly, assumed me dead. Well, clearly, I am not. My troops will be covering my escape from emberfall. You will not survive on earth.”
“When was this recorded.” Joe asked, worry beginning to sprout in his mind.
“We could not find when it was recorded. It is also only half the message. We couldn’t find the other half.”
An explosion shook the ground. The bunker of Joe’s troops was up in flames. Just then, a flash came from the obelisk.
‘So this is what he was talking about’ Joe thought.
Jennifer and Spark were in danger. He needed to find a way to contact them. He began to run to the obelisk as fast as he could. His friends lives depended on it.

Chapter 28: Worst. Tame. Ever
Part 2/2
The Kaprosuchus was a sort-of light purple in color, but had burning red eyes. It arched its back like a cat and snarled at the two, preparing to pounce on them. But before it could, Ben snapped his fingers and vines ensnared the Kaprosuchus. It let out a roar of frustration and tried its best to claw and tear away at the foliage, and it seemed like it was making quick work of it. They’d have to act fast.
“I’m running out of plants,” Ben realized as he checked his arms, “I won’t have time to control more. We need to knock this thing out now.”
“Understood, but how? My bow can’t knock it out before it gets free from the vines.”
“Don’t worry. I’ll just knock it out with some knock-out berries,” Ben replied. With what little flora he had remaining, he clenched his fists and concentrated hard. Black berries began to grow all around the vines ensnaring the Kaprosuchus.
“Gary, shoot its tail or something. We need it to open its mouth.”
“Understood.”
Gary aimed his pistol at the Kaprosuchus’ tail and pulled the trigger.
BAM!
The bullet hit home and the Kaprosuchus let out a growl of rage, opening its mouth with rage. Ben’s heart began to race as the vines crawled into Kaprosuchus’ mouth. Two dozen berries began to pour into its mouth, and after that the vines retracted back into the murky waters. Ben let out a gasp, his heart squeezing tightly as he collapsed onto his knees. The Kaprosuchus let out a growl and was going to jump toward Ben, but by now the knock-out berries had taken effect. It fell asleep, falling into the water.
Gary rushed toward Ben, kneeling down to check on him.
“Are you okay dude? I’ve never seen that happen to you!” Gary asked worriedly.
“Yeah. Just my heart. It feels a little numb, I must have overexerted myself,” Ben said, putting his hand over his chest and breathing anxiously, “Ah. That hurts.”
Ben grimaced in pain as he clutched his chest, “Just, feed that thing and we can get out of here, alright? I need- I need a break.”
Gary nodded wordlessly, and he walked up to the Kaprosuchus, gently lifting its head out of the water and onto a nearby rock so that it could breathe properly. Gary took out a few slabs of meat they had harvested from the Sarcosuchus, doing so for the next ten minutes or so…
~
Soon after, the Kaprosuchus’ eyes jolted open, and it stared at Gary. Gary noticed its soulless eyes and got a shiver down his spine.
“The process is done, Ben,” Gary announced. Ben looked at Gary and groaned as he got up from the murky waters.
“Good. Now let’s get the heck out of here. I’ve had enough of this swamp already.”
The two began to head back to the Book Club’s camp, which was easily identifiable because of its close proximity to the Green Obelisk. On the way there, the two were deciding on what to name their tame.
“I was thinking, perhaps we should name it Blaze,” Gary suggested.
“Blaze huh?”
“Yeah, because it has a fiery spirit.”
“Huh. Not bad. Well I have no complaints, I was never good with names,” Ben chuckled, “But hey, I was wondering if you had a name for this guy’s pet Raptor.”
“Oh, that one?” Gary realized with wide eyes, “Well. It is blue and red, but as much as I’d love to call it Blue I feel like that name is too generic. So I’m thinking of something like Stream. Like a stream of water, that’s what I notice about the pattern.”
“Stream, huh?” Ben said, “Sounds great. I guess I’ll tell Samuel about it.”
Before they knew it, they had reached the newly installed gate of the Book Club’s camp, and the sun was beginning to dip down the horizon.
You may or may not know me, but I am lamprey. One of my old names was TCK, which you might know of. If you don’t remember, I was in rock drake at the time. There’s been a lot of new fanfictioners. I’ll try to name all of them- oh wait, I remembered that you said you read the posts while you were inactive. I’ll just give a list just in case and where you can find them.
Seasnake: currently in rock drake, use google to find the first three chapters of last hope, because dragon turned into a huge argument.
DTG: he is ending Dodo Tales, but he’s currently in forest titan, still going in alphabetical order.
Apex: started in reaper, now at nameless, story is a bit violent, has the new title of speed typer. Apex usually posts the entire story in one day (usually around 12-9 chapter) or two days.
Lamprey: in wyvern, started in crystal wyvern Queen, I would not recommend it since it’s not well made. I started a new one in magmasaur, which is much better.
Swamp guy: currently in Phoenix, started in kapro.
Skronkmonster: I think he started in quetz, although I could be wrong. Skronk is currently in noglin, and he’s been inactive for a bit now.
Red dragon: he is the newest fanfictioner, I think. You can find Red in allo.
CL1: been inactive here, but I think she is active in discord, which I don’t have.
P. Metallica: currently in griffin, read draconis tales if you want to understand isle of griffins (which is in griffin). Draconis tales started in wyvern.
Bob: finally back after a while, starting new story in snail.
Dilo girl: found in dilo, story is called acid the dilo.
That’s all I can currently think of, bloodstalker and attack drone are inactive. Also everyone has a dye now, I can be found in cyan dye.

Chapter 3
- The Nazgûl
Joe’s image flashed in front of them. They had seen a strange terminal start blinking. So they accepted the transmission.
“Jennifer, Spark, I have news you might want to hear. Do you know anyone who goes by general Grant?
“All too well I’m afraid.” Spark said.
“He was the general fighting us on Crystal Isles.”
“Impossible. General Grant fell into the lava river in the dragon trench when his base collapsed in the battle for Ragnarok.” Spark said back, worry rising inside him.
“Well he did, and I am afraid to say we have evidence that he is on earth. We found transmissions and it all came true. Then the obelisk flashed. Someone teleported. I am sorry I cannot come and help you, but I have to rebuild Crystal Isles. I will be praying for your safety.” At this, Joe saluted.
Spark saluted back as Joe’s image faded away.
“I knew of general Grant but I didn’t know much about him. I was stationed in the desert.” Jennifer said.
“He was a military strategist. Perhaps the smartest man on ragnarok. If he is on earth, I don’t know how long it will be until he finds us. What worries me the most, is he probably still holds a grudge.”
Rathalos (S2 Ep29)
“So, Zane.” Riley started, attempting conversation, “where you from?” “Uh...” Zane said, obviously uncomfortable. “I...” “um, guys?” Riker said suddenly. “What’s THAT?!?” She said, pointing to what looked like a sleeping dragon. “Another Hybrid... Ugh, I hate those things.” Rathalos growled. “Okay, be careful guys. Don’t wake it.” Cary said as she stepped on its tail. “Nice going, twinkle toes.” Rathalos whispered as the dragon lifted its head and set its eyes on Riley. “Great.” She muttered, “of all the things we come this close to, it’s the one that hates me.” The dragons tail swung, clapping her upside the head, and causing her to black out.
