I tamed the Desert titan

It was hard because it took me 10 hours to tame it

Standard bola and tranq. You know the drill

Use a Quetzal and a pretty good one. Block off your head with foundations so the swarm can’t get you off. Then use the lightning on the corrupted spots and just keep doing that it’ll tame itself. Another tip you can fly under it and it will work too.

Get a quetzal with a platform and build a structure that can hold a giga, toss the cryo glitch the giga easy kill in about 2 minutes solo

Tip! Save before fight and then if you die, you exit to menu and before it takes you to the menu you quit the game and reload ark and you can try again! Ps. Might only work on console.

Using a tapejara with tek saddle is effective.

a 200 managarm with 10k+ hp and 200+ dmg and just keep lazering it.

Slap some minigun turrets on a quetz platform saddle, get a couple tribe mates and 3k bullets (you need 2100, but expect to miss a bit) then spawn the titan and open fire

Grab a Quetzal, build metal box around the platform saddle, and when there is electricity around you, fly under the corrupted nodes, and wait there untill ligntning strikes. Watch out for its attacks.

Just killed it using a slightly bred managarmr. All you gotta do is make sure the managarmr youre using has good damage, then just dash through the titan, youre too fast for its flock and its zap.

Although the titans are generally pvp oriented, the desert Titan is an incredible utility Dino for singleplayer as well. By placing a couple refining forges of even an industrial forge on its back, it can become a very efficient metal smelter.

Step 1: Grab a wild Dino with a Wyvern, put it on the exact spot where you want to hit with his Thunderbolt.

Is there know setting to make these a longer term tame? They seem cool but what is the point if it will be gone in 24hrs.

Solo tamed it with an imprinted mana with 3k stam.

Waited under it until it was going to fire lightning at me, jumped up 3 times, with slight delays between jumps so on the 3rd jump (jumped the 3rd time when the lightning was around 1 second) to shock its right wing corruption. I kept repeating it and it kept shocking itself, then I moved to the left wing, then the back.

It took a bit of precision and learning, but I eventually figured out the timing and had it tamed in like 15 minutes. Alpha tamed as it’s lightning doesn’t damage it.

I took 0 damage with this method, and always dodged its lightnings and flock. Maybe this doesn’t work on ascended, but on evolved, I think this might actually be the best way to tame the desert titan if you have the skill to do it.

Overall, I spent about 2 hours trying to do it with other methods, like a tek tapejara, damaging with the ice breath, using a tek suit.. this one was way easier. And easier than finding quetzals on extinction.

Use lightning attack to summon corruption in corrupted spots if taming

Can literally be killed with a Managarmr, stand right below and shoot straight up, also you might want to evade the occasional lightning strike.

My wyverns are almost fully grown, and it’s almost time to fight this thing for the first time after having all my stuff wiped by a glitch. The battle will be intense, as I play with default settings (I pretty much just have a bunch of 20th level wyverns. Eh.
