This is a super strong dino, Much like a Rex in terms of stats and stat increase per level. Giga bite on official with 660melee does over 1800 damage. I have used one of these to kill mosa, plesi swarms, tuso and alpha tuso.
It has excellent utility as you can use weapons when riding this dino, Both on land and underwater, it is much slower on land but about on par with the Rex walk speed when sprinting, perhaps a little faster.
They also have pretty good weight too making it ideal companion game when farming with an angler ect.
This beast can also turn on a dime with a speed that puts most reining horses to shame, The tail gives a decent amount of knock back too.
Using a breeding pair of these (mutton tamed) with 70 arm saddles levelled to almost 700md with 15.3k hp to get to wave 5 on an alpha element node on extinction, if you bring a daedon youβll be laughing π«‘ Fox

I was once afraid of titanosaurs until I tamed this monster. Me and my friend are playing on a non cheat world and tamed 2 145 deinos and they ended up being lv 214. We bred them and got imprinted ones and took them out to fight a titanosaur (I didnβt think it was a good idea but my friend told me we got it). So we both mega chomp it and run. Turns out the broken bones debuff they apply does the same amount of damage the mega bite does every half a second and the titanosaur died in just 2 hits. He gave our deinos 40 levels and we are no longer in fear of titanosaurs.
This thing is awesome!! Surprisingly fun and easy to tame. When it chases you with its mouth open like a baby bird its so silly, just dont get bit! This thing is a beast on land and the sea, swims pretty fast and you can coast on the surface without diving. Even stand on the back if need be. 10/10 totally recommend taming this massive beast. Im from Florida and i approve this Gator π
You can use weapons while riding a deinosuchus. It just doesnβt show up on dododex.
If your deino gets stuck in the Devourer cave face its side to the wall and dismount Iβm going to find a way to get my croc out
I just got Ark ascended and I went to the swamp and thought it was a sarco R.I.P my raptor

Figured out how to get out, you dismount cric if it gets stuck in island Devourer cave then it move it some so it gets out of the air (my Dinoβs float sometimes so I canβt move them) then you can get out
guys be very careful when leaving or your deino will get stuck in the cave stay off the walls Iβm stuck
Bring foundations if you use this guy for Devourer artifact cave, bigsy fell and took around 9000 damage out of 14,000 hp, use foundations to close or weaken the gaps between rocks so you and your deino can safely cross, then maneuver through the water and come out and exit
