What is a deinonychus used for? deinonychus battling strategies in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
Okay soI have encountered a glitch where there is no pack leader. Like, they do not work as a pack. This used to be a huge advantage they had pack boosts and everything, but either they updated it or I got some glitch. Just FYI this can happen please say if u know how to fix this.
Definitely a very good tame to have mid game and can kill big dinos fast. Definitely pump a lot of health, stamina and you won’t really need to pump much melee damage if you have more than one. It is very fast, doesn’t take any fall damage and it can climb walls ( only if being ridden) so it is very good for exploring the new aberration biome too.
I only suggest 2 places for this thing: The sandstone cliffs of Valguero, and the redwoods of any map. The only competition that it has in these two places are the thylacoleo and the rock drake. I have no experience with the rock drake, but here is the competition between the thylacoleo and the dienenechus. The deinenechus, on the cliffs, is in its natural habitat. It was meant for those cliffs, and they give it large tactical advantages that the thylacoleo does not have. Around these cliffs spawn large creatures that the deinonychus, unlike the thylacoleo, can pounce. The dienenechus also takes no fall damage and can jump far higher. In the redwoods, the thylacoleo is at home. It has smaller creatures that the thylacoleo, unlike the dienenechus, can pounce. The thylacoleo can also run up trees and slide down them, while the deinonychus has to jump. The deinonychus, however, can stick to non-mesh trees, and can jump from tree to tree, which is difficult on a thylacoleo. Part 2 soon.
