Excellent at breeding mutations these raptors are merciless when you get a pack of 5 or more, set them on dinos after buffing them with your pack leader and watch a literal biological meat grinder, recommend going with hp mutations as they have non existent health pools and are essentially glass cannons however their sheer numbers and vicious stacking bleed dot (damage over time) not to mention 0 fall damage from ANY height and the ability to traverse any terrain above water (not terrible in the water for a land dino) make this raptor very desirable it should be noted that the pack mate buff (press C on computer) can be used while attacking, moving, falling, swimming, or while latched onto an enemy dino, (activation will uncouple you from enemy dino) most of the time not even playing the animation allowing you to get powered up and not miss a single attack from the leader or pack, Deinonychus FTW!!!

For this to make sense Laching on a titan u will see dat there are 10 lach slots

Weight stinks but is still an absolute killer

Extremely powerful my level 160 with 800 dmg. Easily killed a pack of Allos and on a different occasion easily killed a level 130 Rex

This Dino can successfully get into and out of the abberation zone

If you have a pack of these the highest level one will be able to buff the others with a war cry! Kinda like the raptors.

I say their great hunting tools for large animals.For example:a rex you can just latch on to it and do damage then you have some hide,raw prime meat and raw meat(P.S anything large it can latch onto examples: Diplo,bronto titanasaur giga.Nonexamples:raptor dodo oviraptor micro raptor otter)

Ok internal base defense dinos,but would recommend a few pegos or troodons more. Still good tho

There’s this bug with creatures that can jump up walls (the ferox and deinonychus) where if a yuty fear roars you and you jump onto a wall and latch, your camera angle will be super weird and sideways. The only way I know of to fix this is logging out/restarting your game. Or just don’t jump onto stuff if you’re fear roared.

Saddle is not on primitive plus

Used one in the Poison cave on Valguero and it’s pretty good at gathering leech blood. Not as much leech blood as a Sabercat but it deals with the other stuff in there A LOT better. I named mine Foghorn Leghorn for anyone who gets the reference.

Great for exploring, killing and perfect in packs. Take no fall damage and can latch onto creatures and are tamed by stealing their eggs on the valguero map

You can kill the brood mother in the redwoods with one of these if you stay behind it

If you play genesis get you a nice bloodsucker and go around and get yourself some free eggs

Might be a controversial opinion, but Deinonychus are kinda good. They can climb walls (kinda), jump high, are very fast, take no fall damage, and a high level one with some training can get to like 5000 health and deal like 800 damage.

Best early game tame if you don't wanna go into the redwoods or desert

This is supposed to be smaller than a raptor… and easier to tame… Since Utahraptors are bigger than Deinonychus in real life.

If you're wanting to play Aberration, go to Valguero and grab one of these bad boys first they will make life so much easier. They are also extremely effective in groups. A gang of good Deinonychus could tear apart a giga(tamed)

They should and that the kiddle that you make with the egg can be used for a perfect tame on any thing

Use spawn command. 1 turn on admin logging. 2 turn on creative. 3 use this command: gmsummon "deinonychus_character_bp_c" (input lvl here). Yay u spawn a tamed deinonychus!
