The best part is that they can latch on to argies and they go crazy trying to attack them and the deinonychus is just clinging to the bottom. Probably the same with quetz and wyverns

These are THE BEST LAND MOUNTS! They are very fast, they can jump very high and far, they can climb cliffs, latch onto big animals, they dont take fall damage, AND THEYRE SUPER CUTE. Unfortunately you need, like, a million fires to hatch their eggs XD

They can shred pretty much everything in a group with good stats. They are basically the piranhas of the land. Personally my favorite dino in Ark. Get one or 50 you wont regret it.

If you have a deinonychus, it can make taming awkward flyers like argies and quetzals much easier. If you don’t want to make a trap You can latch onto the flyer from quite a distance and then pull out your tranq gun/bow. The creature will try and get away (in the case of a quetz) or attack you (in the case of and Argie, idk if they can latch onto griffins or snow owls, but both of those would attack too) but if you’re latched on, there will be no escape. Once your deinonychus runs out of stam or your targeted flyer drops, the deinonychus won’t take any fall damage. I also think it may work on a mana, but don’t be too disappointed if it doesn’t. I knocked out a 150 Argie with my deinonychus and no trap, but then again, I have a 281% dmg longneck.

Did you know the Deino is the fastest dino by far? Should you mess up it's climbing jump hard enough (as I did climbing a mountain on fjordur) you can launch yourself across the map! I went from about 35 lat 95 long to about 65 lat 70 long in less than a second with this "method".

This is one of the best PVP tames. Give it a lot of melee and health points, and boom, you got one of the best PVP tames.

One of my favorite creatures or maybe my favorite one you can get packs of these and they’re super strong in packs I got them just having a pt and going down and grabbing them they’re amazing and they’re so easy to get

These guys are strong and really good for bosses. I personally am currently breeding mine to mutate a really powerful army of them. Highly recommend them for bosses.

Also say my wild Dino max lol is 150. If I find a wild deinonychus that's lvl 150 then I kill all the other deinos, steal all the eggs and run OUT OF RENDER DISTANCE. By doing this the 150 is the inly one that can fill the nests and you will get deinos lvl 150 with the same stats for breeding and mutating.

They are like a raptor but 100000 times better.

Stealing its egg is not that hard, and hatching it is also easy. It is VERY fast, and it has also decent stats. When it hits other animals or people it applies a bleeding effect to them. They also can stick to walls and big dinos. I highly recommend you to get some of these

AMAZING!! I haven’t had it for long, like 30 mins, but it is SO fun, definitely get whenever possible. When it is latched onto walls you can also shoot down which is great for taking. 11/10

To the person asking how to use its climb on console, ah, great question, i am very edumacated in this topic. So, if it hasnt changed, if you jump towards a surface, the deino will latch on. From there, look up and jump again, and it will go up, aslong as your deino actually works, mine has been a bit bugged lately.

Use this to latch on to Dino’s and great killing machine I recommend also use on servers great for PVP that’s my opinion tho but I own a server I just don’t know how to get people in it

I like to get a bunch of low level deinonychus to make an egg farm. I know a lot of people probably do this but some don’t. Just saying to skip on a low level eggs when hatching because they make really good kibble and why waist your high levels for that.

How to fix a known glitch in ark

If your deinonychus won’t jump or attack and it’s doing the jump animation in idle mode log out of the server and rejoin
