Find its eggs at chalk mountains

Since the last update the egg will say “too cold” put about 20-23 torches around it in a V shape and you’ll be good, I hatched about six eggs at the same time that way

I would suggest luring the pack of microraptors on steroids away from the nest then getting the egg. It would also help to have a flying creature to help you out with staying off the ground when the come and try to eat your face. Good Luck!!

I have 4 of these things on valguero and I think they would be good on the desert cave in extinction I recommend baronyx or leveled carno and kill all of them most eggs spawn near each other so grab a few of them while your at it

Get an imprinted equus and stealing them should be very easy since every time I’ve done it a imprinted equus easily outruns deinonychus and can carry a lot of eggs.

Use a pteranodon as they can’t latch on to you and you can get out quickly

Get a flying mount, get all of them to chase you off a cliff BAM grab all the eggos you want!

Please note most of the egg spawns are guarded by 5 story bodyguards called rock golems also the nests look like a circle of bones and sticks.

You can use em for base defense :)

Get 150 movement speed and a decent bit of stam for stats, throw a sleeping bag down, run into the nest argoing anything near, run as far away from nest as u can before dying, spawn at bag and theres not any near their nests unless one wandered in, i did it as a bob with no tools or armor lol

They great tames I know there rapid but you latterly can level one to tame all you need to do is find a nest get out hatch and boom you have deinonychus up if was helpful

Carrying an oviratpor that's following your survivor with an argy, waiting for the deinonychus to get distracted, and allowing the oviratpor to use it's ability steal the eggs without alerting the pack is a super easy way to get them. Got 5 eggs in no time on Fjordur.

For this Dino it's a bit weird but I found a good way to do it without loosing much. I steal an egg from the wyvern trench on val and pick up the deinonychus and put it in a body of water because they are very slow swimmers and then I take the egg. Please up if this helps

Use fireplaces to incubate it's works with anything

Their great tames to have, make the highest tier of kibble, do bleed, have good mobility, great for boss fights and that stuff, but need to steal their eggs and hatch them, I do so by taming an ptera use it to get aggro of the deinonychus then lure them away and get them to aggro on something else, fly back to the nest and steal the egg (this can work with any flier)

If u just lead somthing there for them to attack, u can grab a egg easy.
