On a flyer eat a RARE FLOWER. They should Argo to you. Lead them as far away as possible or off a cliff if you can. Then fly back really fast a grab the egg. Easier with a buddy .

Take a fire or lightning wyvern, set fire to the packs and then chomp em.. easiest strat. If your too scared to do that? Get a buddy to go with you.. if your still to scarednthen your not ready for this beast.

I looked up for Scorched Earth specific creatures and deinonychus was there. I don't know if that's true, but if the app is right, then hopefully there will be nests in Scorched Earth as well for or fellow desert survivors as well.

I’m pretty sure if you kill the mom the egg dies in your inventory it’s happened to me before

Don’t underestimate them to be like raptors they can 3 shot raptors which I found out the hard way

Protect your tames from these guys, otherwise make a gravestone

They do not hatch in the wild. At least some dont because they are "too cold." At least that is what I have been seeing.

Contrary to info on this dino the safest way i have found to plunder nests is with a rex.. Eat all the deins, hop down and pick up all the nearby eggs..

Just keep the deins in front of you and they shouldnt be able to jump onto your dino and with a decent rex most are dead in 1 bite anyway

Tame an high level agrentavis then fly to 68.1 70.8 and go down THE ravine and kill THE patents with THE argentavis. Pick upp the egg and fly away

To steal it's egg you just have to distract them with a big dino. Try finding a nearby allosaurus

Steal egg or steal child. That's how you tame this oversized Microraptor.

These lil things run with raptors one pounces on you and the other bleeds you to death what a great time huh

Throw a dodo at it and run and scream

Get a high level trike and use the power of knockback to kill them and take your first egg

There is a Nest near beach 2 that is alone and you can lure deinonychus off a cliff then steal the eggs easily on a ptero Note: most of the time you don't need to lure them off the deinonychus/s there are 9/10 times distracted by a wild Dino

When you are looking for eggs get a flyer and kill all of the deinonychus In the area before grabbing the egg don’t worry they barely climb in the wild so just stay above them and you’ll be fine

I found that a fully imprinted PT is a great “grab and run” method of getting the eggs. PT’s are everywhere and finding and knocking out a couple high levels for breeding should be relatively simple. At about 500% melee, they can kill the parents with little issue as well, if need be.

I was just able to run in, get it and run away(the parents were distacted). I now have an egg that needs to incubate.
