I’m going to erase those last two chapter from existence. I don’t like them, they were a rushed job, and are honestly trashy. So, new chapter. Hopefully better.

Chapter 13(?): Delta Team

(Quint POV)

Dilath hung limply in the Nameless’ claws. The Demons surrounded me, so I couldn’t do anything. ‘Hrelnir. Seekri. Ius. Kill him.’ Serothane ordered, motioning towards me.

The Nameless mob moved towards me, weapons raised, when the steady hum of a jetpack above. A group of Federation soldiers, a hodgepodge alliance of Imperial deserters and former guards from forts that had been raided by hostile armies, held TEK rifles, pistols, and spears floating above us in rather ramshackle-looking armor, swooped downs. They fought, guns a-blazing, cutting down the Nameless. ‘Delta Team! Get those two Dorbanders outta here!’ a voice called. ‘Sir, the LZ is a little hot. You sure we should land?’ a man asked. ‘Just bloody do it!’ the other soldier roared. Lydia threw her spear at one, and it simply bounced off. ‘DELTA TEAM! I SAID GET THOSE DORBANDERS!’ A man yelled over an intercom. The yell finally awoke Dilath, and he launched out of the Nameless’ hands, grabbing a dagger in the air where I tossed it. ‘Thanks!’ he said, flicking around to stab the Demon in its skull. He locked his dagger with its sword, sliding it down, and chopped off the upper blade. The beast looked at him, dumbfounded, just as it died. ‘Hey Dorbanders! You wanna come up and help fight?’ a young fighter asked. Dilath swung around, opening his pack. ‘My armor!’ he muttered. It was, thankfully, still there. I had my armor on, blasting Nameless. I had a strange thought that I kinda looked like someone called Doom Guy as I slashed and hacked at the Demons. Dilath reappeared, armor fully activated, Eclopse in hand. ‘Now…where is Serothane?’ he asked. ‘I dunno. Now, shall we help those Freds?’ (AN: Pyrrhians call Federatoon soldiers Freds). I said. Dilath’s armor flicker, then turn invis. I activated my jetpack. Once Dilath and I were both armored, the Freds had no reason to not rain bullets.

So, the snow-covered ground was ran red and black with the blood of both sides, littered with bodies. I dropped to the ground, TEK rifle in hand. Another soldier dropped by my back. Dilath appeared, holding a chitin helmet in his hands. The message was clear: Serothane had been eliminated. ‘Get up to Quetzbase! Pronto!’ the man on the intercom yelled. The third soldier rocketed up, and we followed. The remaining fighters were mopping the floor with the rest of the Nameless, leaving us free to get to the massive Quetzalcoatlus. On it was a small metal room, where the leader of the Federation lived. Surrounding were three more buildings, the barracks, the armory, and the hospital . The only reason the Quetz could hold this many buildings, I assumed, was because of its massive size. A Scout rushed over to us. ‘Get to the edges of the saddle, Dorbanders! We’ve spotted a group of twenty-five Imperial Wyverns!’

Sorry about the last few chapters. I admit, they were bad.
