Ok. I have new plans. I might need to partially restart this story. See, I just don’t really like some of my past chapters. But, the premise stays the day. Dilath’s personality might change, as I’m skipping ahead one year from the past. I know, it’s annoying that the meeting won’t be seen (until the chapter after this one), but, It’s OK. I will have a recap.
Chapter VII (I think)
I sat in the underbrush, my rifle held in hand, as I watched a guard pass by the walls. Finally, they went to the next wall. With a slight smirk, I dash over to the wall, climbing up with relative ease. “Hey! Stop!”, yelled a guard. I swiftly pulled out my pistol. Three shots were in the man’s head before he could call out again. Styx. They were still alerted to my prescience. No! Dilath, stay focused, you need to kill their general, then leave, my mind screamed at me. “Ok,” I muttered to myself. I shrugged off the leaf-colored cloak that I was wearing, show armor made from a combination of light plates of iron and leather. My hands rested on the pistols at my side. Then I jump. Real stupid, Dilath. Yeah, I know. I move as fast as I can, throwing a grenade at one of the walls to distract them. Finally, I had reached the General’s tent. Silently, I pull out my pistol, and shoot the man in the head from behind. I pull out a piece of paper, scrawling on it a note. Then, pulling out a new grenade, I launch it at the main area where the guards were still gathered, figuring out what caused the explosion. Ha! A new record, ten minutes and 23 seconds. Pulling my cloak back on, I exit out the gate.

I return to my home, which was just a stone hut next to Blackmoon (My mentor)’s house. I hop in my TerrorRaptor, Demon, and ride out to the mine system. The mines were really just a large cit in the wall next to the hunting trails, but they worked well enough, as they led to the Volcano, which was rich in resources. Finally, after two hours in the half-darkness, I saw Blackmoon. “Hey, BM. How are you doing?” My mentor turned towards me. “Excellent. How was your mission?” Stretching slightly, I sigh. “It could’ve been better. At least they didn’t notice me.” Blackmoon nodded, then tilted his head towards the exit. This was a sign I could leave. “Bye,” I say, hopping back on Demon. Racing out of the tunnel, I go to my hut. The little place was comfortable enough. I put my cloak and armor on their stand, put my guns on their rack, yet I keep my TEK dagger, which hung at my belt, on me. I climb onto my bed and fall asleep.
My nightmare was much, much worse than usual. I saw it all. My village burning, Blackmoon dead on the floor of his house, a psychopathic version of me standing above him. My pets dead, scattered body parts all around the pen that they were kept in. A beast loomed in front of me. Him. The King of the Wretched. “Think of the innocent men you killed. What did those guards do to you?” The demon’s fire-colored eyes seemed to burn into my soul. No. No. NO! This can’t be happening. No.
I wake up in a cold sweat to see a Raptorman standing above me.
