Deinonychus cannot be knocked out and must be obtained by stealing a fertilized egg from a guarded nest, then incubating and raising the hatchling to maturity. They are fast, agile mounts capable of climbing, gliding, pouncing onto larger creatures, avoiding fall damage, and inflicting stacking bleed while latched on, though their abilities drain stamina quickly. They hunt in dangerous packs and can detect threats from a distance, so approach with a sturdy mount or flyer, lure them away from their territory, or use fear effects to drive them off before attacking.
