Saddles are unavailable as of March apparently

I like to get a bunch of low level deinonychus to make an egg farm. I know a lot of people probably do this but some don’t. Just saying to skip on a low level eggs when hatching because they make really good kibble and why waist your high levels for that.

How to fix a known glitch in ark

If your deinonychus won’t jump or attack and it’s doing the jump animation in idle mode log out of the server and rejoin

I used 30 campfires an I could hatch 5 at a time.

These are auctally not that hard to get eggs from if you have a flyer because they are pretty much always fighting something making it very easy to steal their egg’s although I have had bad luck with finding good levels

This is 2 ways to gather eggs efficiently.

1) You need a tribe mate to help with this one and 2 fliers. I would use some decent argy’s with stamina and health. Your tribe mate will fly over the nest low to the floor and agro the deinonychus and fly away slowly. They will keep the agro and leave the nest but try not to get hit their bleed does 10% of your health. Once clear you will fly down grab the eggs and fly away while informing your tribe mate that they can loose agro.

2) This one is a bit more difficult but it’s good for when you’re solo. You need a good flier who can carry a tanky dino. For the flier I would use an argy and the tank would be an anky. You fly over the nest and gather the agro and then fly away while carrying your tank. You lead the deinonychus away and drop the tank so they start eating it. You then quickly fly back to the nest to get the egg and fly away. If your tank is still alive you can try pick it up but be careful if your hot they do 10% of your health. Your tank should have some decent health to give you time as when it dies the deinonychus will return to the nest to kill you in short time.

Tame a high level Raptor or something small in size so they can’t latch on to you, kill the group and raid the nests. Unlike Wyverns, looting the egg doesn’t spawn more and force aggro onto you, so it’s probably the easiest tame in the entire game with a single decent level dinosaur

I value the deinonychus highly, it can easily solo creatures that are reasonably high tier and it’s pack power is exponential. In terms of getting their eggs, I’ve found that’s it’s a good idea to lead them off a cliff with a flying mount.

Here’s what I have to say about these furry raptors, find the nest. I play on Fjordur and I found a nest a a cliff. They will camp there nest and try to protect it, kill the parents then take the egg, I suggest using something fast to take the egg.

One of the easiest ways to obtain Deinonychus eggs early-on in Fjörder is to tame a Snow Owl. R - Snow Owls can be found near the redwoods and are an easy tame, even at a higher level. With their swoop, you can glide down and get the aggro of nearby rexes and lead them to the deinonychus, or lead the deinonychus to stegos / trikes if there isn't any rexes nearby. If you are too low of a level for the Snow Owl saddle, Pterandons are advised. I would personally avoid any conflict between you and the actual Deinonychus. It is easier to deal with a rex than the cliff chickens. Before I forget, they can be found all around the large castle located near the grasslands. The area is very dangerous and I would stick to the air. The best mounts for the job are Griffins or Desmodus, but I would rather get them early with a Snow Owl or Pteranodon.

If you fly out of render or get out of render then come back it auto respawn the egg with the same parent, do this for infinite cool colored or good leveled deinonychus

Very easy to get eggs lure them off cliffs or wait for wild creatures to lure them away from the nest(i got 8 eggs by doing this got 5 high levels

Get a few of females and 1 male for breed eggs for kibbles..it does all type of eggs from basic to exceptional.. like if it helps 👍🏻

Nah...ima show you the savage way to grab an egg. First, you will need to put your birthday suit on. Then run up there like a mad man streaking thru the outback kiting the deinos to any other animal trying to find the actual nest. Grab one and run for dear life to water. (It works. I just did it)

There is a round area in the white cliffs with a natural wall all around apart from one entry/exit so if you put a double gate you can lead them in, leave the area and come back and if you fill the area with just high levels you get loads

Have a Tapejara, one guy rides it, one guy goes front seat with a whip, just fly to any nest and whip the egg, easy way to steal eggs without being in trouble. Same goes to a Griffin but the rider can do both things.

Easy, tame a pack of pteranodons and attack each deinonychus, theyll get distracted, easy, get the eggs and fly away

Everyone talks about how it’s so hard to get but it’s really not if you have the right stuff. I recommend getting a PT and just luring them away then you can just steal the eggs. I got about 7 eggs in 20 min using this method. Be careful because they do a bleed damage that stacks so make sure your PT has a good amount of health. They have a cool secondary attack where they latch on to larger creatures and continuously hit them. I wouldn’t use an Argy for this because they will latch on to you. They need a lot of heat to hatch so I would have as many standing torches as possible 👆so people see this.

These guys are beasts. They are fast and fight well. They are also easy to raise from baby to adult. On 3x I have raised 9 in a day and that was before the maewing existed. I can now raise these on 1x

Use these guys for boss fights, most bosses can’t actually hit them
