Do not leave it on passive tame when you log off! I tamed my first pig lvl 145, so I didn’t realize you had to turn off passive tame otherwise it uses all food in its inventory and when it runs out it will take health damage.
On the Xbox you can usually find these in the snow biome up if helpful
Since they heal in the wild, be sure to hit it for a bit of damage before taming. It will heal itself, reducing its own food and when you knock it out it will eat all the food quicker.
A 120 took around 130 mutton, 40 minutes and 97% taming effectiveness
If it gets stuck you can just punch/hit it till it passes out, then feed it and boom you've got a daeodon
Just get any level Equus and kick it once or twice and it will be knocked out easy as pie
For mobile players ;
Currently There is a Dungeon Going on, It has a sabertooth on it. ( I forgot the name- )
In the dungeon you fight daeodons right away, Some Implants are locked, but you can get lucky where they arent.
Hope this helps.
( I know its not muhc information, sorry )
There Jaw is the best place to hit that is counted as there headshot also let it perform a lot of healings be for K.O it will save you time also bring a lot of meat like a lot it takes over 100 mutton for a lvl 186
I think Daeodons are sometimes called terminator pigs
Testing these against the yuty and will not be posting other bosses .Test was with a yuty and ascendant saddles and like 13 pigs.
Im not testing the other bosses because when I tried the monkey it just kept healing.
Gamma broodmother: Set them to aggresive so the minions wouldn’t bug em and so they could get more food for passive heal at the start. No pigs died because of passive heal spam.
Beta broodmother:Same thing with gamma. Set them all to aggresive and let them eat the minions. The damage they did was pitiful, even with courage roar. I didn’t want to wait ages at the moment so I killed it myself. So that’s inconclusive and I will do a rematch later.
If you pick it up with an argy, hit it once or twice before dropping it. After it goes through it's heal animation, pick it up and hit it once more. Drop it, tranq it slowly so as to get more heals, and then once it is KOed, put whatever food you want to take with in it's inventory. I KOd one I hit a few times with my argy, and once I put iguanodon kibble in it's inventory it tamed in a matter of seconds, basically meaning one can starve tame daeodon without having to wait, force feed narcos, and then give it food. Happy taming!
In the words of Helena herself, when talking about taming Megaladons, it’s a piecie of piss.
The Daeodon is even easier because it’s heal ability drains its health, makiing for a tame that requires over 100 meat but in less than 3 mins and he’s yours forever
I extremely recommend this Dino all though it might eat all your food so if you’re a beginner and don’t have much meat then this may be a harder thing to keep and that’s all the tips I have to share
Stupid pigs can levitate. How do I know? Well I got ambushed by some that jumped off a cliff onto me, so I grabbed my pteranodon once I respawned and flew over. I couldn’t find them so I dismounted to get my stuff just as the same pigs jumped off the same cliff that they had previously flew off and couldn’t get back up. I got my tapejara and flew back to find them again on top of the unclimbable cliff. I got them that time.
You can find them on Scortched Earth between the red and blue obelisk, alonf the "forest" of small sap trees or near the small interior desert
