Out of the three types of crystal wyverns:

Ember wyvern: does the most damage but needs high stamina to be effective.

Blood wyvern: best for PvE and is very good at killing players once picked due to their breath giving them a link to where the player is.

Tropical wyvern: best for PvP due to their ability to get a water buff which boosts stamina and flight speed.

(personally I think bloods are the best)

You must have a high health,stam, and speed to take wyvern eggs if you use a wyvern. If not it’s deadly

It’s a good idea to have a glider suit or parachute when taming them because they fly into cliffs which knocks you off.

Easiest taming method is called: WYVERN SURFING!

I'm in single player, and raised a fire wyvern by healing it with my snow owl. Can you somehow do the same with these? Can you get crystal wyvern eggs?

You can easily get onto its back by jumping off an argy/pteranadon while next to it (make sure the argy or ptera is following you though).

I do not know if it works for normal wyverns, but if you put a wyvern in following, then fly into the air with it, you can get off and stand on it. It won’t land, because it is following you, and since you can stand on wyverns, you can just stand on it, in the air.

When feeding them normal Crystal if you wait about three extra minutes after the second feed is ready the interval drops to 20 seconds per feed and you don’t lose efficiency tested this on official.

To raise a crystal wyvern it must be fed primal crystals instead of milk, they get around 400 food per crystal but seem to eat much slower then normal wyverns to me

First you need to do The Island Note run so you are high level enough to tame one (lvl 65).

Then you need to find a good Crystal Wyvern.

The easiest Crystal Wyvern to tame is the Tropical because it is at a easy biome and very often to find.

If you found your Crystal Wyvern jump on his mount at the widest mount spot.

Now feed him Crystal.

Look how many Crystals you need to tame for the level.

Sometimes you fall off when your touching a mesh or when the Wyvern fly straight up or down so bring some parachutes.

Now you have got your own Crystal Wyvern :D.

I find it best to use the tame tracker on these guys so you always know where they are if you accidentally let loose your grappling hook.

If you have an egg incubator from genesis 2 you can set the temperature to correct temperature and potentially reduce egg time by 20% On all Dino's

If I put prime crystals on a crystal wyvern will eat my crystals or just regular crystalsNeed help 45 minutes isn’t enough to keep the crystals

I incubate my eggs and it takes about 30 mins to hatch and then up to 2 hours to grow up but I recently found out about the command “setbabyage” if you have commands available then I recommend doing it and if you add a space then one after age then it will be grown up all the way it won’t be at full health so I would recommend do GMBuff when you get on it to heal it

So I’ve tamed a blood in a tropical wyvern area and I know that ember wyvern Fire becomes blue so I’m trying to find them so I’m going to make a teleported and generator so I can to back to my base wish me luck that I find an ember

If you want to breed your Crystal wyvern but you dont get primal Crystal, then Just make them lay the egg, hatch it and then dont claim the Baby right away! Claim it when Its adult! IT DOESNT STARVE IF YOU DONT CLAIM IT WHILE GROWING! The only downside is you cant imprint it. This works for every Dino btw.!

My tropical one ist wayy faster then my pteranodon which is about twice His Level! Their crazy fast

Climb onto its back and then constantly feed it crystal to make it easier to tame

Unlike the regular wyverns, which you have to risk your life stealing an egg and hatching it, then go find a female Wyvern to knock out and take the milk from in order to raise your own wyverns, the crystal wyverns are super chill with you, and you don't have to steal any eggs and die a lot. All you have to do is mine some crystals, hop on it's back, and feed them the crystals until they are tamed. Way easier to obtain than regular wyverns which take a lot of time to obtain.
