Ok so there is a secret category in Dododex so if you go to more and tap on the part that says shoulder pets you can see the other shoulder pets in the game like so more can see this

I’m going to sound like a moron for this but hear me out.

This is one of the most useful early, middle, AND endgame tames.

The reason I say this is because if you:

Get it to a high level,

Set all points into health,

Set on aggro,

Carry with you while moving or riding,

Then drop it if you get chased by a big scary thing,

You can evade

ANY

ARK

CREATURE.

Compy armies are a wonderful thing. Since they gain a bonus from being near each other, it makes it decently easy to cause chaos.

All Utility Tips for Compy:

1. A pretty cute, if unconventional, pet

2. Can serve as a backpack (due to shoulder pets reducing weight in their inventory by 50% when on your shoulder)

3. Not strong, but can serve as a distraction

That's about it. Honestly, unless you want a pet early on to bite at the ankles of things, don't tame.

Do these guys lay eggs? If so, these guy’s eggs are prob microscopic

If you have like 1’000’000’000’000’000’000’000’000’000 of these, you can kill even a bronto in less than a mini second.

Some guys in my tribe started stacking C4 on these , then sending them to a random bystander in an enemy tribe and make them blow up , fun prank at first , started doing it as actual warfare while raiding

They produce egg for the simple kibble

I heard they increase the chance of getting twins or triplets if they're close to the eggs you're hatching. I did a test and seams to be true, but still testing...

I tamed one and put her in my house to be my emotional support compy. Basically, whenever I die and lose all my stuff/one of my tames, she’ll be right there to cheer me up! I know they’re not very useful, but I love compys

Cute, and useful in large numbers, but be careful, they get overburdened easily. Also, don't get too attached, they can die pretty fast

These things are adorable. I have three of them running around my stone cottage. One of them I hatched from an egg. As babies, they are practically single-celled organisms that eat meat.

It should have a little platform saddle that you can put a little turret on

Now these thing DO NOT have a special ability like other shoulder mounts, but however. They are really really realy powerful in large numbers

They do gain a squadron boost so having many of them is very useful, they are only tamable using prime meat for some odd reason, having tons in an air locked base on aggressive will for sure do some decent damage,

Fun fact: a tame dodo can destroy these guys in 1v1 if the dodo hits first

People neglect the compys most important use: showing off level 449 highly color mutated compys on official pvp servers for sheer shaft swinging rights.
