So if you hit it with a club, it will get an instant knock out. Then you have to feed it prime meat, once it wakes up, if you pressed eat on the prime meat...it will not be tamed and it will attack you.

Don’t try to tame it with raw meat! It doesn’t work! You need prime for the smallest thing on the Island. Found out the hard way.

First, of course, you have to knock it out. Then the only thing it pretty much eats is prime meat. Tiny but needs big things! You can also find these on the beaches, or forests

They only take prime meat which is REALLY annoying... The only thing that's good about them is that they can be on your shoulder if you dont have a useful shoulder pet.

Put a Compy in a taming pen in ur base than go do a prime run keep preserving salts on u and ur dino u got the prime with than KO the Compy and give the prime to them. They are very small Dino's that hang out near beaches usually.

These are just some idiots who just annoy you,one hit ur fist or 2 would know Em out and they are pretty useless my next one will be on trike!

Prime fish works for me everytime knock it out n put prime fish in it's inventory n make sure u have everything they don't stay asleep long at all

I tried using Raw Mutton but it didnt tame, use Prime meat its worked fast so far

A single dart downs them (only use darts as arrows can easily kill them).

The picky bastards only eat prime meat, so have some ready, their topor is extremely quick to drop as well so have narcotics on hand.

When you tame them they get a boost for how many you have tamed, if you tame 3 compies they have 3x attack bonus etc.

Compy is affected by bola, noticed it’s marked as “not affected by” on the chart. Used a bola to take one on official server today.

Ultimate way to get a Compy army:

Step one: find a medium Compy pack next to a diplo

Step two: kill the diplo and say sorry

Step three: punch out the compys

Step four: load them with prime meat

Repeat until you have tamed about hmmm... ten packs? XD

Punch it then feed it prime meat it’s that ez

Build a small pen. Find compy. Lure to pen on foot. Close gate and lock them in. Now you have time to go get prime meat on a Dino. Empty your held inventory into the Dino. Pick up the narcs first, then the prime meat. Trank them out. Use the “transfer all” button at the top of your inventory. They can start eating while you keep them tranked out.

They cane tamed by ONLY 2 of ANY RAW PRIME MEAT(Mutton, Meat, Fish Meat)

Very good decoys.max out health, place on shoulder and use as bait to distract carnivores. Make sure it is set to aggressive.
