ok i just started ark on the island, and i am trying to get food, so i look for some thing to kill and i find this pack of compys, And like 10 compys come from all diffrent dirrections and kill me, so at this point i knew there is no escape to compys when you start ark dont even look at them!!! unless you are sure there are no other ones around around or you have like a level 280 giga ( be prepared to fight things you van barely see.Thank you for reading!

Annoying little Dinos they follow u around most commonly found in forests or deserts it takes two arrows to kill one and a then stabs of a spear is easier

I tried using Raw Mutton but it didnt tame, use Prime meat its worked fast so far

Look at them and walk backwards with a pike or spear

A single dart downs them (only use darts as arrows can easily kill them).

The picky bastards only eat prime meat, so have some ready, their topor is extremely quick to drop as well so have narcotics on hand.

A simple compy pack is never bad. Just get out a primitive pike and kill them. (AKA I have seen a pack of MILLIONS near my base!)

If Annoyance was an animal these little bastards are right on the dot

Keep away from these or they may go lost world on you because they attack in groups. Also there good diversions for taming powerful dinos. There not worth the needed tame supplies though

Good for fast levelling up if you have a spear and high melee dmg

When you tame them they get a boost for how many you have tamed, if you tame 3 compies they have 3x attack bonus etc.

Very good decoys.max out health, place on shoulder and use as bait to distract carnivores. Make sure it is set to aggressive.

Really cute, extra picky, infinitely deadly. Unless without a pack, these things are mainly just nuisance.

To tame, you need prime meat, fish prime meat, or mutton, after tame you can use any meat not spoiled.

They are really good in packs and are also good for decorating a base.

If it’s only one, then it won’t attack you, but as soon as more arrive then you better run. These guys really are just curious, and are also pretty cute. The fact that they only eat prime meat is pretty BS though

Compy ar small but they run in packs and together there strong and knockout with club one swing and pu t prime meat fast or it won't be unconscious

Compy is affected by bola, noticed it’s marked as “not affected by” on the chart. Used a bola to take one on official server today.

Ultimate way to get a Compy army:

Step one: find a medium Compy pack next to a diplo

Step two: kill the diplo and say sorry

Step three: punch out the compys

Step four: load them with prime meat

Repeat until you have tamed about hmmm... ten packs? XD
