Encountering Tips
How do I kill a cnidaria? cnidaria battling strategies in ARK: Survival Evolved.
To farm these things to get the best keep-unconscious resource in the game, Bio-toxins, you will need a basilosaurus because they don’t get affected by jellyfish at all. You don’t need to ride it just target it to fight these things. After that stuff the toxin in a ceramic vase because you can preserve it in there forever as long as it doesn’t break.
These Guy are awful, I had four Raptors and they killed all of them as I was going through a river.
Here's a tip in killing a cnidaria without having to kill it with any weapons or dinos:
•Get in the water close to them(not so close unless you want to die)
•let them follow you
•get out of the water
•They'll be now almost out of the water
•Get back in side and let them turn
•They die because of their turning issues
That's use full to get them Biotoxin (Note that I don't know if this works on any other devices, only I know it works on mobile)
Murder machines for early and most late game players they poison paralyze everything they need to be nerfed
I was taking my baby raptor on a walk then I thought I put him on stop bc I was gonna cross the river then he followed me put as he was at the shore these guys shocked him to death I was so sad so I now put ballista ready for these f### kill them for speedy
One time, me and my brother were fighting a alpha megalodon with my two sarco’s, and suddenly, a whole MESS of these things attacked us and dismounted us and killed us all. It was a sad day in ark history. 😭
If you can chain stun-locked by 2-3 or 4 of these jellies, It's over, you literally can't move
Only fight them close to the bank. Get them angry and dash to shore. Then, stay out of reach of their electric tentacles and hit with a weapon. Make sure they are close to shore enough so you can stand.
Afterwards, harvest the Cnidaria's potent Biotoxin!
If u have a basilasouris u can delete it
Me die
A helpful tip should include more words
I rode my 138 Sarco into the sea collecting oil at sea, finished an oil rock, turned around and saw 5 of these bastards ganging up on him while he was sleeping . We both died, take these on by range with crossbows.
F in the chat for my lv 138 “Big Boy Gator”
Warning:
Do not go in if you see these.
Just kill them from shore
Basilosaurus. That’s all I’ve got to say
They have pretty long range. So if you see them just dont dive into water, first kill them from range weapon. And if you are already inside water then see if they are moving to check they spotted you or not. If they are not moving then simply change your way and dont try to fight, if they are moving then you better run in opposite direction for your life.
Atleast electrophorus can be tamed...
While your tame still might die anyway if you have a high hp dino that gets zapped by these whistle followall and swim away. If you can i managed to rescue my 140 rex that way. She had 8k health and lost around half with a normal saddle. I came back with my re and killed them with rock throw. (It was super effective)
It wants to cuddle with you. It won't stop till it touches you
Up to 15 tentacles grow from each corner of the bell and can reach 10 feet in length. Each tentacle has about 5,000 stinging cells, which are triggered not by touch but by the presence of a chemical on the outer layer of its prey.
Kill on sight. VERY NOT FRIENDLY. They will totally obliterate you, your tame, your tames tame, your tames babies... they will even float up out of the water to attack your flyers. Ok that's not real but they're freaking ridiculous.
Only one to fight this is THE. BARYO
