How To Kill Cnidaria

Cnidarias are very dangerous creatures, they spawn in all costs and even in deep ocean, they have an ability that stun almost all creatures and players, when you get close, they chase you until you get to land, DO NOT USE MOUNTS TO KILL IT!!!

The simplest way I found to kill Cnidaria is:

Make a spear (lv 2) and get close to a Cnidaria, keep distance, when he/she gets close get to land quickly and start attacking, if he/she is not on your range, try again until he/she gets close to the coast, so you can atack.

The Cnidaria give a resource called "Biotoxin" And it's basically a better narcotic, so you can farm those and use narcotics for tranq arrows, and if you're playing in mobile you can make "Toxic Arrows" (lv 61).

You can found Cnidaria in all costs except in the stone pilars in the south (coast).

The dinos that can kill Cnidaria are Basilosaurus, Baryonyx (in my experience) and mega piranha.

Use a metal sword to one-hit kill them, works on any level

Use a bloodstalker to lure them close to shore then web them in. It is both hilarious and rewards you with biotoxin.

I just farm them with my basilosaurus Numpty

I have never lose any creatures to this blue glowing satan because I’m not dumb and dont make creatures swim in the blue stuff and also tame sea sausages because they are op

They give biotocxin if you kill them

I think these are the most annoying water Dino after piranhas but to kill them make them chase you closer to the shore and the start either shooting them witch is the best way but I use a spear because i don’t carry bows or slings with me

They have no use practically there to Annoy to death (literally) it says they're passive but aggressive when approached but that's a lie these things kill all things not wild in the water I had went to do something on my itchy them got off and while on a mountain it said my itchy god killed by one of these horrible animals so just get a bow and arrow and shoot them (while your out of water)

Guys the best way to kill these guys is

Go in water and get out and they will comme to you

Get them near shore

After that go in water again and come out

These dumbos will follow u on land and die

(This worked for me on mobile)

The only use they have is bio toxin it's better than narcotics

TAME BASILOSAURUS!! They do not affect the Basi at all whether you’re using it as your mount or a follow tame. If mount tame you won’t be shocked or knocked off while killing or if follow tame use it to kill them so they don’t kill you and whatever Dino you’re mounted on.

P.S. just incase so I’m thorough and not misleading any “noobs” or beginners to tame the Basi it’s a “passive tame” or “non-violent” so taming it does not involve knocking it out. Tame an Itchyosaurus(also passive tame but they don’t try to attack you) once you tame the Itchy use it to tame the Basi otherwise the Basi will attack you

Be sure to be on land when you see these guys, they have long range vision.

Also, NEVER EVER use melee, just ranged, these jellyfish are sure a nuisance but give bio toxin which is basically the narcotic twice its stats

If you’re in the water without a tame, as long as it’s shallow backpedaling is almost fast enough to outrun these suckers. Although their stun renders you unable to move, you can still stab it, and they’re squishy.

Use a crossbow or harpoon launcher for these guys melee will kill you

I lost a space dolphin to jellyfish this says enough if you think you can just go by them in a hurry don’t just take the time to go a different way

They aren't that bad if you kill it with a crossbow or another ranged weapon. You can hit the body after it's dead with a melee weapon or tool and you wont get stunned.

DEFINITELY DO NOT GO NEAR THESE, now there is a story:

My friend was having fun with his new rifle, then he jumped on one of his sarcos (he has 3 :D) and went underwater, one of these stupid creatures just pulled him OUT of the sarco and literally surrounded him, he killed them all but drowned, he was going to lose all his stuff, if you see these just kill them from land or DO NOT GO NEAR THEM

"Early Game"?!? go tell that to my dead sarco, gatorade. more like endgame for you. These are endgame not early game.

Lost my Plesio on six of them so i tested with two high level Dunleos. Worked well just 10% health lost... The dinos are short time not stunned, so they can attack them. More dinos less care about them! Never swimm alone!They will get you :)
