Always carry a crossbow and/or harpoon gun when travelling underwater to deal with these guys. Make sure to keep your distance unless you’re on a basilosaurus, otherwise they will stun lock you and your tame. Good luck out there 👍

l lost my spino to some group of mantas rex to these cnidarias while i was crossing the same river... went to complete knowledge of the forbears with 2 very good tame and returned home with nothing thanks to these mfs

Don't even try hit them without range weapon. Or u can lure them to get closer on land, and hit them freely,But its really risky.

My first time playing ark I saw like five Cnidarias and jumped in the water to see what they were then they paralyzed me and killed me while I sat there helpless then when I tried to get my stuff back they just sat there guarding my stuff then I tried to get my stuff again and died😭😭😭

If you decide to take your spino out for a swim, do not under any circumstances let them touch you. I got shocked and dismounted from my spino and I swam away to try and whistle him to me. I then had to watch in horror as my spino get shocked to death by 5 jellys and 3 megs. It was also my first spino. RIP Spiny
