Lure them to near the surface and kill them from land.

I don't use narcotics,I use it's toxins.it's toxins do more torpor than narcotics.

Get in the water and give it anime body pillow then you can go in the water any time without a problem

While they are dangerous they are the greatest source of narcotics in the game. They give what’s called bio toxin and this will make torpor rise faster. If you want to kill them safely lure them to a raft and then crossbow them down. They are fairly weak so you won’t need many shots to slay them. Your greatest worry will be the sharks but if you can kite them into these guys you will find it works to your benefit.

Bary? Avoid.

Megaloshark? Avoid.

Spino? Ehh, he can nip at them but I wouldn't risk my buddy.

Basil? OH, IT'S GO TIME BABY.

For the new players if you see this thing in the water DONT APPROACH IT IF YOU GO NEAR IT IT WILL KILL YOU AND DONT BRING YOUR PETS NEAR THEM I LOST MY ARMY OF DILOS 2 CARBO 2 TRIKE 3 RAPTOR AND MY SACRO FROM THESE THING JUST DONT GO NEAR IT IT SWIM VERY FAST

These things dismounted me off of my 261 mosasaur and then killed me. I tried to go back and whistle the moss but it was stunned and couldn't move so it died instead.

They drop a pretty neat resource called 'Bio Toxin' when killed. It can be use as a steonger alternative to the Narcotic. It can also be used for a new 'Shocking Tranq Dart' which can shock the target and add a substantial amount of torpor. Perfect for knocking out Quetzal's.

They should add a notification to if one is near so ark says: run or you'll find yourself at the stone age again

Ok, so I was once taking a swim while my tames were near the shore and when I look to my right, these guys showed up and I swam for my life but the shocked me so when I took my spear out and hit one of them my tamed came over and started to attack these jellyfish...

I lost my Scorpion, Parasaur, and Sacro. :(

In early game they are the must annoying water creature ever, to kill them you need to bring them to the nearest point from beach land then kill them with arrows and if melee weapon so be fair as possible to be save from these annoyers

Use the basilosaur, it’s not affected by the jellyfish it’s ability

A great way to kill these early on is to chuck spears at them from the shore

WORST THING IN THE GAME!!!!!! They will stun your tame and kill it, regardless of the level. Only the basilasaurus is safe. If they sneak up on you with your mosasuar, they will kill you and the mosasaur

To kill these guys, make them follow you to a shore and poke at them with a metal pike from where they can’t reach you.

Ark has a kill 250 dodo quest on mobile… why don’t they have one for these demons? One Like=one person who wants there to be a kill 1,000 Cnidaria quest. Also they killed my first turtle my sarco and almost my spino I have been gathering amber to revive my sarco.
