It killed all of my 31 dinosaurs. Stay away from them unless you have a bow and arrow.

These guys drop bio toxins, perfect for increasing creature torpidity. If you want to get your hands on these, kill Cnidaras. If you want to kill one, they will spawn in groups of 2+. They are aggressive if you are close to them in water. They usually spawn near shores. Lead them to the shores, and hit them until they die so they don't repetitively electrocute you.

1. Take a decent lvl Baryonyx make some

2. Make a scuba dive tank

3. Massacre...

4. Enjoy bio toxin

First swim i was dead due to this jellyfish

You can kill these for bio toxin which is like narcotics but better

Best way to get Biotoxin early game is to swim in shallow water near these guys so they come towards you, then back up into shallow water where you can stand. Theyll keep following you a ways until they stop. With a pike or spear you should be able to walk up pretty close and just kill them like that. End up with like 45x BioToxin from a group of 3. Just be very careful

If you have a sarco you can go the surface of the water and stand in the sarco and snipe then from up there

If you encounter these if you have a bary go grab it cause mine beat 10 while they were beating my rex.

I have level 700 spino with 900 mele and when I get close to the jellyfish they despawn before I can kill they killed my dodo so I seek and despawn them cause I cat kill

I was at a early level and I decided to see what was underwater. All of the sudden my screen went blue and I died. I was like what hit me . Those darn cnidarias .

Wherever said that these things don’t effect spinos are wrong. My lvl 191 spino almost got killed by one of these. I’m out in water with spino looking for some of these to get bio toxin and I found one and attacked it. Turns out they do effect spino after all... I finally hopped off my spino and killed it with my sword. Moral: if somebody says that these don’t effect certain animals, don’t listen to them. It’ll just get u killed

Knock it out, get a kapro, drag it onto land, and then kill it

My spino nips them from afar and collects every single drop of bio toxin

How to farm at low lvl: have it follow you to sea shore where it can’t attack you there then bombard it with spear attacks for early bio toxin

If you get stung by one you can still attack it! It works at least on mobile...

Found a cheap way to farm them as a new player in Ark Mobile.

Spawn at Location S2 and have a weapon in hand so your punches won’t decrease your health. More damage = better.

Take off any armor because they do chip damage with torpor meaning damage overtime which is bad.

Head towards the ocean and submerge for a few seconds just to taunt the Cnidaria deep in the ocean.

Emerge to the surface and walk off some so distance.

By some miracle/magic when you come back for a few second, some spawn/came up to the surface where you can see their cyan body. From there, try to beach one of them or more. DO NOT, under any circumstances, think they are harmless when beached. Attack far enough that you won’t get yanked into their attack, come to you with the last bit of water they can move in, and so none of your land tames following you get caught. I went from having 102 neurotoxins to about 500 with this “exploit”. Enough to tame my Therizinosaurus when I don’t have kibble to tame her.
