Do NOT underestimate…

I was playing on Ark Mobile. Me and my barry Onyx (not a typo) we’re coming home to my little bay after missing a supply drop when I realized I was running low on fish for my fish eaters. Saw that there was a group of four of these guys and just decided to go a little further and stay in the shallows to avoid them. Of course, they agro-ed. The water was shallow enough that other things wouldn’t have been able to follow, but not for these guys. I got knocked off my Onyx and she ran after them. Even at full health it was a one hit K.O. Two rays I hadn’t yet seen finished her off. Didn’t get the implant so couldn’t revive. You were an amazing mount, Onyx, and I owe my life to you several times over.

The moral: DON’T PLAY AROUND WITH THE JELLIES!!! THEY WILL MESS YOU UP BEFORE YOU CAN SAY “Oops”! JUST DON’T!

If the piranhas they say are some of the most annoying, these bastards are deadly af. Mantas pierce through armour, shred it, while these guys stun you. Include the piranhas, and omae wa mou shindeiru. Best bet is Basilosaurus, or decent levelled mosa ( not recommended as shock attacks are the weakness of the mosa) and tusoteuthis, because of the attack range. I hunt these down to total extinction, then gladly save up the bio toxin they drop for giga, royal griffin ( I play on mobile so...) or taming of other whatnot thingys. If you want to kill these early game, as they are seen on the shore quite easily, just grab a few spears and/or pikes then slaughter these bastards. Lure them by walking until swim mode into the water, then depending on your movement speed go backpedal to the shoreline. This will successfully lure them near you and you can slaughter them as you please without endangering you or your mount.

NEVER never never never never ever go near them with sarco I just tried to tame an itchy and three of these guys killed both of them and almost killed me wow

Tame an ichthyornis and get it to attack cnideria, it kills them but doesn't bring the body, harvest with high level dino

Honestly, they aren't a problem. Get a mount like a megalodon, or go by yourself, and shoot with a crossbow. Also, pikes seem to work. Just keep in mind if you get stunned, you will be dead.

If a cnidria touch you or one of your dino, juste run, but wait... You can't move,so wait your deth.

The Jellyfish is Ark's way of making the Ocean even more deadly then before

There is a glitch where you can bring them to shore and they can’t attack you, effectively taming them, me and my friend did this in a multiplayer for fun

It's really easy to kill these guys all you have to do is make them follow you to the shore and then you shoot them and you have bio toxin

three of these and 1 meg killed my baryonyx be careful when hunting megs on oceans scout your surroundings killing these cnidaria before you hunt

I finally tried attacking some of these with an expendable spino, and I figured out that you just need to attack the jellyfish before they attack you. If you level the damage to about 250%, you can kill the average jelly in three hits, and they harvest more biotoxin than other creatures.

(My giga harvests 12 per jelly, baryonyx is 16 per jelly, and the spino is 18 per jelly). I promise you guys that it’s real. It’s only a problem if you let your tame get too close and then get stun locked by the electric attack of the cnidaria. Keep your distance and murder these suckers for the best narcs in the game! These little b@#ches killed my pelagornis and i was SO MAD SO MAD THAT KILLED ALL OF THEM I KILLED A TOTAL OF 34 THIS IS FOR MY PELAGORNIS AND A TAMED ANOTHER ONE IT WAS A HIGH LVL AND A GOT THE SADDLE FROM THE DEAD PELA AND EQUIPED IT TO THE NEW PELA hes name is white

Tusos are also completely immune to stuns like jellyfish and eels

Use their bio toxin to be a sleep thingy

Since they attack tames and players only why dont they aggro onto other creatures? Like they should attack manta coel sabertooth salmon megapirahna megalodon electrophorus angler basilosaurus and more! So even if they were in the wild they could still protect ur base! And keep those nasty wild spinos away

These things weak as heck on the island I have a raft and go and get next to them and just spear them or pike them it's easy

If your going to kill one of these when your a low lever make them follow you onto the bank then they can’t move forward and you start hitting away from a distance

Beware going in the cave with mosas, I was fighting 2 alpha megalodons as well as about 10 other sharks and dunkleosteus and then 2 of these came by and it nearly died from them

Grab the most lethal harpoon launcher and after the violent episode, you have a gift for a friend
