You can also tame them with stimberrys and not just beer

Guys how do I feed it beer cause I tried and still can't

After feeding the first beer, you have to wait like 5 min (1200 food) before you can feed it the second time. From then its 1 min 25 sec ea feeding time.

Everytime I try to tame one, it usually takes longer than said because it "isn't hungry" so to help, get it agroed then leave it for a minute it makes you start over sometimes but it works

To tame Chalicotherium you need 🍻 beer. If you want to tame it faster you need soothing balm

They are not aggressive unless u touch them or stand near them with a weapon

Just tamed a 150 on official with 17 beers (2x @ 99.9% effectiveness).

Wiki says stims also work. So feed it a stim berry if you put it in a taming pen. Then let it grow hungry, come back and power tame it? Gotta test this out though

Use cooked meat when feeding them, it fills more food than raw meat

I'm a nubbie to this fascinating and hilarious game. I found myself on a desert island with absolutely no clue how I got there and what to do. Now, I am at a stage of making beer. Is it one of these or get entertainingly drunk with the tribe? There is so much to do. However, no spawning animals in thou. It's not a quick game to play. Beavers are great. But this guy can have as much beer as he wants. Beaver sniffers.

These things are highly dangerous make sure to wear full grille and don't touch them just shove beer up it's but (;

Use gillie and you can stand right next to it all the time

If using large bear trap to tame, be aware it will quickly break free and will still throw rocks/mud at you while trapped. Rude.

Use a flyer (preferably argy or similar weight) fly above try not to aggro and place spikes around him quickly pinning him in, I've noticed they react to the walls even before placing fully, then just find a gap to poke your hand in :) this way I done this easily the first day they came ;)
