What are tips for chalicotherium? Tips and strategies for chalicotherium in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
These things are scary as heck, around level 43, primitive metal chest and legs, leather boots, gloves and an ascendant leather hat from a time gift. Aggro’d from very far away, took me out 4-5 shots and I can’t get my stuff back. Ghillie suit and a pt are almost necessary if you want a good chali
They eat stim Berrys but you need a lot
Despite being classified as a teritorial creature, these jerks will sometimes walk up to still tames and attack them.
USE A GHILIE SUIT!
They spawn a lot up north
Is there a difference between normal and honey beer ?
Chalies are very overpowered as a tank seeing as they can equip saddles and helmets (you can get 300 armor saddle and a 1k armor flak helm for a total of 1.3k armor) as well as having decent health that is easily upgraded through leveling or breeding also whilst taking for your other tames they are able to deal good melee damage as well as a ranged attack so 100% recommended tame
!! Don't Feed/Tame with stim berries!!
This Gorilla of a Cow Used my 15x Balm and still got like 1-3%. :/ (Ark:Mobile btw)
In a beer barrel put thatch and berries in it have a glass jar and once beer is made it will go into the jar then tame this fellow
Use ghillie armour and a cactus broth, feed from behind and do it ever minute. Enjoy your new poop thrower
Do not try to tame they WILL KILL ON SIGHT.!!!!!!!!
Dont believe anyone who says that berries can be used to tame them. Beer is always the way to go. it takes too long but its the best way
To fight these your self use Dilos a metal shield and a metal sword whenever you see it lure the others away by using a bow then send the dilos to attack it and when it attacks at you use the shield to protect your self then keep attacking it until its dead
Get on your scorpion and find a challi then feed it from on your mount I tried my thery and it worked it did not Agro I was even on top of it without a problem except for it getting bothered by puny dilos
Will eat azulberrys after tamed
When taming this creature, like 50%+ of the total tame time is waiting after the first beer. Once the timer comes up again it goes by fast.
You can’t trap it or else it’s health will keep going down and I think that it will refuse beer.
Pillar it in place so it doesn't wander into trouble 3/4 of the way through. Put a bunch of pillars in your hotbar and run into it on a mount, then lock it into one area. Leave for a while to lose aggro
