Knock one out at their pond, then spend the time fishing. You have to be there constantly anyway, so you might as well do something useful while you're at it.

To help more than the calculator can, bring along 300 Narcotic, 200 mejoberries and 100 other berries. This is the rough average for these things, up to like level 180 or something. Hope my tip helps with taming! And make sure to build a 1x1x1 base made of stone, if you want to target one to tame!

If you won’t them to make dams don’t tame them cuz when you tame then they stop

When opening a beaver dam all beavers nearby will aggro and this is a good way to find beavers

Use an argy to bring it to a taming pen for taming.

Use a flyer get on a rock and then get out a bow with tranq arrows then start shooting. :)

Try to get the creatures on the land so it will be easier to hit them with arrows (tranq)

P.S bring 100 of any kind of barry.

U need much More narcotics then it Shows. Omg.. I forced Some into it. Left it shortly and when i came back it woked up already and my narcotics were lost -_- great. So dont Do this misstake! :/

When Tamjng let torpor reach 10% then shove 1stk of narcotics in his mouth will keep the torpor up for a very long time

I reccomend building a taming pen 6x2 with doorframes around it... And then go to tbe beaver spawns. Pick one up with you argentavis, (yes you can pick it up with an argent) and bring it back to your taming pen. Tranq it with arrows or longneck rifle and feed it some gallimimus kibble. Make sure you keep an eye on the torpor because it drains pretty fast. After that enjoy your perfectly tamed beaver.

If speed is leveled right they can be outpaced; they can be snared with a bola and knocked out or shot with tranq arrows through a 2x2x2 pen with open windows and a ramp to trap the castoroides to prevent carnivores from getting at it. Torpor goes down quick so a lot of narcotics and/or biotoxin is needed, if you can’t make their kibble use crops. I use starve tame because their food goes up relatively quick unless you allow it to go down for a while. Dedicated taming process, but worth it. My two beavers Frost and Char just had a baby, and unlike other dinos they gestate inside the mother instead of hatch from an egg. And they are mobile smithys

When taming, shoot from a distance so you can get 2 or 3 tranqs in them and then they’ll run from you. Chase after them while shooting and it makes taming so much easier. Have lots of narcotics ready though

when you find these sons of female dogs look for their friends before you decied to knoke this female dog out very mean bevers :(

The dex is a little off if it says no narcotics needed narcotics are definitely needed.

Amount of biotoxin is is way off.. I would bring at least 20 more. Beaver almost woke up on me and was only 83% tamed 🙄

U should use biotoxin if available to tame castroids because biotoxin is much better then narcotics biotoxin can be acquired from those jellyfishes near the beach.
