I remember I was exploring killing some dinos I sometimes do see a castoroides and I saw a giant beaver dam it had 1k wood and 238 cementing paste which was decent for a player like me so I took the loot but then a castoroides ran to me and attacked me I tried defending myself but then I died luckily I got my stuff back and I stole the loot again and then I got out of there.

This thing killed me lany time i grab all their stuff

Dont even check the dam inside if u steal or juz looking inside without taking they treasure they still will absolutely kill u.. Juz make sleeping bag nearby they dam so they dont chase u anymore and loot ur dead body

I remembered when these guys drop Metal Battlements whenever you killed them, such a great way to get metal

Once me and my tribe mate we’re going out to tame a raptor. We were looking for some when a notice popped up on my screen, it said “your dodo was killed by beaver”. I usually don’t call em castoroides, I just call em beavers, so I thought a wild castoroides had broken into my base. I ran back to my base as fast as I could, and saw some thatch ramps built onto the side of my base. I went into my base and there was a player named: beaver. We later agreed on a peace treaty after he attacked me and I attacked him a couple of times. The end

First I tamed two to make a baby and imprint, Rush is my favorite beaver so far: 450 weight 1500 health, but she made too many. They don’t lay eggs so if you don’t neuter your pets you may find two small little beans walking up big dust on the ground. Went from 2 to 7, I love them so much they have their own pen and saddle box

I would really suggest making a base near a dam because you can get a bunch of cementing paste easily, just watch your back because these things will hunt you down. Make sure your base is guarded.

It would be cool if when you tame this you could get the bever dam like with the bee hive. There would be an option in the menu of the bever to create the dam and then it would start the placing animation you get with structures. They could add a limit to it like only 100 cementing paste at a time, so it isn’t too overpowered. Disclaimer: this isn’t currently in ark so no one gets confused.

So there was this local beaver whom i named stacy.

We had an old rivelary, i used to try slingshot her down but she always got me.One day i was collecting berries with my carbonyme and saw a sarco. It was fighting stacy.I should have attacked but i was just too afraid.I never saw stavy the white beaver ever again.

These stupid thing killed my fav iguadon and my fave sarco when I was looking in the dam but then i tamed them

I pick every beaver i saw and put it in the large box and they start making dams so i raid it all and i got so many wood rare flower and cP and suddenly i turn it into farm

I have tamed two of these dudes so far, and one is called Goldfur and her fur is golden and I have another one called Graystripe because of his gray stripe. All you have to do to tame these guys is: find one on land (like where I found graystripe and goldfur) go very close to the giant beaver if you have bad aim and then bola the beaver, use tranq arrows or club, once it’s knocked out feed it mejoberrys or just any berrys and you might have to punch it or just do something to keep it knocked out. And then soon you will have a pet castoroides. And when you get one of these dudes BRING HIM/HER HOME STRAIGHT AWAY, OR ELSE YOU MIGHT RUN INTO A HIGH LEVEL CARNIVORE AND YOU WILL HAVE TO WATCH YOUR NEW FRIEND DIE. (That happened to my first castoroides, who had no name because I just got him) And I’m around level fifty so don’t feel sad that you can’t tame one of these giant beavers because your only level forty. These beavers will be your best friend.

One time I found 2 dams and then there was like 10 castoroides chasing after me
