If your new to the game try not to steal their dams cus they will attack until you escape or die and they are pretty strong so yea be careful

Be careful when dealing with dams when these are nearby,all Casteroides nearby will aggro on you when you access dam inventory

If you have a sarco beware this creature can kill your sarco by itself (only 1 castoroides can kill it)

If you want to get stuff from the beaver dam in a easy way, then you should wait until a beaver is on land then bola it, club or tranq it, put berrys in its inventory, and now your have a giant beaver as your pet. Now bring your beaver to a safe location and make it not follow you, and then go back to the place with beavers and do it all over again. Keep repeating until no beavers are left in the water and then the beaver dams are all yours! (I’m around level 50 and i did it)

This thang shreds armor like a warm knife to butter. Be warned.

If you just wanna get in the dam, do a quick open and run to see how many there are in the area. Kite then away from the dam and quickly take the inventory. They will chase you down quite a bit and kill you just as quick too, but they hold a LOT of cementing paste and even more wood.

Ppl say it’s so dangerous but I kill it ez at lvl 10 with a bow and arrow just get on a rock and fire away.

It’s too easy to kill them from a high rock or a divide tree climb on divide tree make a walll in front of it shoot the castordroide from an arrow

You can kill it by getting on an animal you can ride that can also walk back and attack and just moon walk and yeah.

Beginners do not hit these cuz they can wreck you , I had to revive 3 times to kill

Walking around with my 2 Dilos and I found one of these thing’s dam then once I take it I get encumbered and then slayed by the thing when it charged at me it killed me in 2 hits I’m surprised that my 2 dilos killed it after that I came back area to sort out everything so my Dilos weren’t encumbered and I am not encumbered

If you want to fight them bring a trike with a saddle and two stegosaurus make the stegosaurus tanks when you do go kill some beavers hopefully you don’t lose your guys

This little sheet can kill a sarco with 200 health left and a spino but only if it has a friend

Found by my base they are idiots if you gave a grappling hook then dart them in the head

Be pre pared and don’t rob them you have been warned

If killed or knocked out, they leave a metal battlement and a curved metal battlement in their inventory, so grab it, place it next to your smithy, then demolish (or keep for barrier) to get a ton of metal and cementing paste! Up this so developers can know about this!

Useful for quick farming on metal and cementing paste they drop walls that drop a thousand metal and two hundred plus cementing paste watch out though they pack a punch

If you want to take the loot from dens without being killed or wasting too many materials, then just build wooden spikes around you and wait until the castoroid runs, then kill it.
