I found an albino beaver before
These thing lose torpor FAST, be prepared, happy taming
Its saddle works as a smithy. However, unlike the actual smithy structure, the beaver can hold about 300 stacks of objects, opposed to the smithy’s 75. This allows you to craft ascended stuff that otherwise would be impossible (due to the crafting requirements asking for more materials than you can fit into the smithy). It’s also extremely handy if you are doing multiple Behemoth gates.
Many moons ago, I decided to explore for the first time. I built a raft and took my safety parasaur out for a spin. After surviving the horrors of the swamps, I found myself face to face with a friendly little beaver and his family. I noticed them diligently working on their dens and went in closer to admire their handy work. The prompt appears. I can access it! I found myself in marvel of the lovely resource within… only to have my collection cut short by a mob of p*ssed off beavers. They killed me, my parasaur, my dignity, stole my shoes, stole my wife, and drank my juice boxes
I don’t even have to cut trees anymore because of theses things, I just pick them up with my argentavis Take them to the little lake near my house and wait for them to make a dam, casually walk over with my bronto, i steal all the wood and other interesting thing from them, and run as fast as I freaking can and hope they don’t destroy my home ;).
Hope this helped you and saved you time from hacking at those pesky trees for three hours hoping to get as much wood as you do from these things.
I play on singleplayer, make sure the one you wanna tame is alone and doesn't have it's buddies arouns, bola it and knock it out usinf tranq arrows, took around 100 mejorberries and 20 narcotics. Time? Around 20-30 minutes.
Their saddle is craftable from LVL 61!
These creatures are very touchy about their stuff. Just take a naughty peek into their dams sometime, you'll see.
To empty a Beaver dam(always completely empty to allow more to spawn), open Iventory of dam, then immediately close it and jump on a semi quick tame(preferably a bird). The beavers will now follow u anywhere. Lead them far away, or over a ledge then return and empty tha dam. *this has to be done for each individual dam.
Empty out their wild dams if you want them to make new ones. No refills.
Relocate them to nearby river, pond, or sea and they will make dams if they survive. New ones will spawn in to replace the relocated ones.
Boxing them in on land near water will also force them to make dam in the box, but creature eventually despawns.
Dont tame, just take em to your are if you've got a shallow water pen.
Be aware they are normaly found in groups so target one that is away from the rest
