If ur on a single player use another controller and make it split screen use that to be a bait pump the health and make it a bait whe ur player tranq it just make sure that it get aggro on the bait player which is the second controller player ;)

I’m taming a 150 carno now raw meat takes aaaaages I advise you find some sheep around to get some mutton or summat coz although it was relatively easy to knock out being stuck between two rocks with some dilos crawling around its feet the time it takes is beyond a joke

How to tame a Carno:

1. Find a high level Carno

2. Build a trap

3. Tranq it out

4. Use soothing balm on the Carno

5. Feed it raw meat, prime meat or kibble

And Done! You have a Carno

Finally tamed my first carno! 😁 pretty easy just get on a high rock or cliff and shoot with tranc arrows! Took me a while to take though, first one drowned, second was killed by a bronto, 3rd got away 🤣😅 4th was a charm! Level 3 though :( but I can get him levelled up!!

(Pc and console player) The carno is an OK substitute for rexes against the gamma and beta versions of the Broodmother and Megapithecus only if you have high level imprinted ones. But I would only recommend carnos in the case that you can’t find a decent Rex saddle bp.

I found a carbono I punch it I was new in the server I had nothin so when I punch carino it ran towards me then I ran towards a trick for it to kill it and take loot but it ingonered trick I punch it over and over in the but and it got stuck in tre and trick I knock it out but I had no meat and there was no other creature to kill for meat and I found an oncuancios raptor but I had no meat 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

To you scared of the alpha Carno, build 4 stone foundations and place them in a line facing the river, carno. It needs to look straight forward. On either sides, place stone walls that go up 2 blocks. Build 2 ramps and place them agains the wall, facing out where there are no foundations, and have them follow each other, like this.

The will be more horizontal in the game. Then close yourself in with more stone walls. Carnotauruses can’t break stone, so you will be ok. Get a trap set up ( infront of the top ramp but on the lowest floor, build a stone foundation and surround it with walls ) it may be grindy, but you, in a lot of time ( 20 days probably ) will farm up enough arrows. I’d say 1000 will do. Once everything is set up, lure the carno into the trap. Make sure you have a lot of wood and fiber on you to repair the bow you are using, and bam! You can kill the carno. Hope this helped ;)

Why do they put metal pick above carno for prime meat harvesting?!? When I harvest prime meat from souropods I get one or two with my metal pick, when I use carno I get 3 or 4! This seems off to me. Btw carnos are best :P

Taming is like putting food in ur inventory for a pego, but instead you must just let the carno eat you. You might have to do this about 5-10 times for lvl 30 plus, but anything under is just about 3.

This stupid big lizard with horns ran away from me and when i came down to chase him he came back to me!!

What me and a tribe mate did to tame was we found a small cliff climbed up it and unload trac darts and when we ran out of trac darts we used slingshots and it is safe and you should have tribe mate so if it loses interest in you you can run after it and get it’s attention run back to the cliff and repeat until unconscious

I ran over a cliff into a pond and got it stuck behind the rock then went on the cliff and shot it with maybe ten tranq arrows put some meat in its inventory and boom I got a Carno

Don't take one under a yutys control. After it's tamed it'll run back to yuty no matter what.

I got mine by shooting at it with my bow on a ledge. Easy KO.

i was trying to tame one and when he was halfway tamed a spino came out of nowhere and just started stalking me and the carno. the spino FINALLY got distracted by something and ran off and i got my carno his name is Furter now😌🥲

How to tame a car o easily (MOBILE)

Step 1: In mobile there are quests, one quest gives you a really good bow, about 200-400 dmg, so do that quest (hunt dilos) and you get the bow!

Step 2: Get to a high enough level to make tranq arrows, try a low level one if you just want a carno

Step 3: grind meat

Step 4: knock out (make sure your either a bit faster or get it trapped)

Step 5: tame with meat! Nice! Now you have a carno!

How to tame a carno the improper way:

Step one: kill it

Step 2: take its revival thingy to revive it

Step 3: revive it

Step 4: tranq it

Step 5: if you have no meat then HUNT DOWN THINGS AND IF YOU CANt DIE REPEATEDLY AND USE A PICKAXE TO GET MEAT FROM BODY

Step 6: feed carno

Step 7: enjoy your new hellish overlord
