First time I was taming one I had ton of tranq darts to tame this and I had flak armour but after 2 shots it was down… I could of took tons of hits!

Well, how to tame this? You got the right place. You need 15 tranq arrows if you have a trike the trike has thick skin ride it and stun the carno and quickly shoot the face with tranq arrows the things you need is: Prime Meat Super kibble Jerky Mutton fish meat how to trap? If the carno is stuck put a stone foundation and 4 walls in all thats when the carno gets stuck.

It’s ez, just get a stack or two of raw meat, find one, get a bow or crossbow, and tranq arrows. it took about four tranq arrows from a crossbow to knock mine. I got a bit damaged tho, so to be safe, get some range or a fast mount like a raptor or gallimimus. Good luck

This meaneace of a speedrunner turned my whole base into shreds (it was made of wood). My theri (150)managed to kill it .BUTTTT this (slur) brought his whole extended family to turn me into a kebab again(idk how there was a lvl 147 dishwasher alpha in da group) IM COOKED .use a theri or basically and other stronger dino(dododex base stats) .i named the lvl 147 alpha terrorist osama (guess the rest) in my front lawn .jesus help that poor bary that beefed with it

they're tanky and have good damage basically a better raptor. If only they added some kind of special attack. But I'll choose a baryonyx over a carno since baryonyx is also an upgraded raptor and an all rounder too.

So I was in a forest and saw a raptor run by me. I thought he was attacking me so I got out my assault rifle and was ready to shoot. I then realized that it didn’t come back. It just kept running. Then I saw why. It was charging at a lvl.11 male carno! I then remembered I had enough material to make a carno saddle right there. Not to mention I had a lot of raw meat on me. I decided to kill the raptor, (which I did.) and get out my tranq gun. After killing the raptor I only had time to shoot one dart at the carno before it attacked. I almost died. I had no choice but to kill it. I wouldnt be as disappointed if it was common for me to see these guys. Only it’s not.

Oh well. Maybe next time.

I think the apps off tamed a 115 carno said it will be lvl 170 with kibble tame came out to be 173 tamed just a FYI

I actually found a carno that had no stamina, easiest tame of my life

Its a very good mid game tame here are how useful it is during levels

1-20 8/10 hard to tame during this early a low level is good enough

21-31 9/10 good late early game dino good to tame a level 10 to 30 at this level

32-49 10-10 one of the best mid game dinosaur to tame at this level the recommended level to tame one is 51 to 70

50-70 8/10 late game good tame but out shined by better dinosaurs if you want to tame one first find a high level carno preferably in its hundreds repeat till you get at least 15 to100 like an army

71-123 5/10 yea it sucks like a lot if you want one yea just get a trex or a giga

Alright so I had just discovered the hidden lake and there WAS THREE CARNOS JUST WALKING AROUND SLAUGHTERING THE LOCALS, one starts running at me and it was about to headbutt me when a para spawned next to me and saved my butt, thank u para, may u Rest In Peace

You need like 10 tranq darts and a saddle , they're not hard

I didn't know about anyone else but be careful. My first encounter way by a river and one of these game out of the woods and attacked my Parasaur at same time a raptor worked with it and took me off my mount and killed me. Never thought I'd see two different species work together.

So, who doesn't love a carnotaurus? They are amazing, and pretty easy to tame. BTW, if you want a lot of hide, go to the beach on the right side of the map, and there's an alpha carno that literally kills EVERYTHING. Go ahead and get close to it. It's probably killing a Parasar, and won't notice you.

Just tamed a my first lvl 6 (I know, pretty lame...) but I did learn that these guys seem to have quite a large agro range. Just stay calm, you'll be fine with ranged weapons. It only took 3 or 4 traqs to down mine.

All you have to do is get your bow and tranq arrows and climb a rock and shoot it till unconscious then gather prime meat if don’t have kibble

Does anyone know in what area I can find alpha carnos?

I was fighting some dodos with my new tamed Carno and then a Theri attacked me. Whith the knockback attack i easly took him out! Use it and you‘ll be able to fight anything!
