K really you only find these were Gigas are in highlands mountains snow up it this was helpful

The Critical Carcharodontosaurus

DIFFICULTY LVL:- 8/10 [ARDUOUS]

IN ORDER TO TAME A CARCHARODONTOSAURUS:-

THINGS YOU'LL NEED:-

1. A Shotgun or anything that can kill dinos easily.

2. 5 Metal Gates to trap it and a Large Bear Trap. (It can damage stone).

TAMING:-

METHOD NO. 1:

Kill the dinos nearby and now leave their corpse. Then build 4 Metal Gates in a round formation. Then put the Large Bear Trap. Moving forward, if you have a quick mount (such as a Thylacoleo, Gallimimus etc) or a flyer (such as Argentavis, Griffin etc) or even barefoot by putting some points in speed trap it in the Large bear trap and then quickly put the 5th Metal Gate behind it.

Once trapped, feed it a corpse and then a Trust Metre appears on the Carcharodontosaurus. Feed it more dead bodies. When the Trust Metre/Bar gets completed/full, you can ride on it and kill creatures. There will be a time limit for it. If the time limit gets over, you'll get dismounted and you know next. If you kill the creatures before the time limit, you'll own yourself a Carcharodontosaurus :D

DIFFICULTY:- 6/10 [INTERMEDIATE]

FACTS:-

1. It's saddle unlocks on lvl 96 an needs:-

590 Hide

350 Fibre

180 Metal Ingot

250 Chitin/Keratin or Shell Fragment

2. It's basically way more faster than a Giganotosaurus

So, faster = deadlier. However the Giganotosaurus hits harder but slower.

3. It's more stronger in long battles as the Giganotosaurus hits hard but Carcharodontosaurus scales up during long battles, making it more deadlier the longer it fights.

4. It has a rage mode like the Giganotosaurus called Bloodrage Mechanic. The more dinos it kills, the damage, movement speed and health regeneration increases. When fully stacked, it can surpass a Giganotosaurus.

5. It can damage structures upto stone like the Giganotosaurus.

You can only find these beasts on mountains but it is a kinda rare spawn

Helpful hint A rhyni is the same speed when flying as the Carcharodontosaurus.

I just tamed my first Carchar and I found out that you don’t have to use traps you can just stay a good distance away and bring the dead thing close and then run away to avoid being eaten. Hopes this helps anyone

People seem to overthink how to tame this guy so here's a simple guide:

1. Put on some ghillie.

2. Kill a baby rex or spino (wyverns and other similar tier dinos will probably work too, but I haven't tested them).

3. Drag it to the charchar.

4. Profit.

If you want to be fancy/safe, you can make a typical behemoth stone gate cage trap and lead it in. Yes it can break stone, but it won't be in the trap long enough to do so. Once you drag the dead baby in, open the gate and have fun on a rampage. Ghillie is there so the baby corpse doesn't accidentally get chomped while the carchar is trying to kill you.

No need for wasting metal on some overly complicated gate and bear trap setup.

These can break stone beware of the carcha they will find you and they will eat you

Don’t make these guys angry they will kill you, your pt, your rex, your neighbor, your disowned uncle, and your favorite cartoon character, please be careful.

To tame a carcha like a pro:

1. you will need

•an Argy(or a cryopod if you do not have one)

• a child Paracer or Rex

2.find the Carcha, dont get too close, but close enough to walk to it safely without being attacked by other dinos

3. get the child Rex or Paracer and kill it

4.drag the body of the rex/paracer to the Carcha. When the Carcha starts sniffing in the air, drop the body and back up a little bit

5. the Carcha will have 100% trust and you will walk up to it and ride it

6. kill every creature in the area, and the taming progress will increase(note: taking damage will decrease taming effectiveness)

7. after a couple kills you may want to use the roar(right stick or R3 for controller, not sure about pc) this is because u might get kicked off of the tame as you kill more creatures. Im not sure if it was a bug or not but it has happened to me.

8. enjoy your Carcha :)

Me and my dad were getting metal at the volcano and we saw a stuck charcardontosaurus, so I was like no way I’m going in there, but my dad was like it’s stuck it’ll be fine. So he went in but I stayed flying. We were both on argys btw. He goes in turns out, surprise, surprise, the charcardontosaurus wasn’t stuck and he got one shotted, buuuuut his level 80 argy literally one v oned that charcardontosaurus and beat him!

The person who said they don’t just hasn’t encountered it yet, but many times I’ve had to lure wild Gigas away from a Carcharo to tame it. The spawn areas for these roll for a Giga or Carcharo separately, making it completely possible for both to spawn at once.

I just found a level 10 giga and then 10 meterd away from that a level 30 giga… then 60 meters to the right a level 100 charcharo im planning on sacrificing a baby rex to it wish me luck guys
