Early game when I restar I always put together a defense squad and it’s three high level dilos and two turtles. All female just for extra food (eggs) anytime. Don’t worry about the turtles attack just the hp because the dilos are mostly there to attack from behind and do the bulk of the damage. Whatever is attacking will go for the turtles unless the dilos get there and then the turtles will snap at it and then it’ll aggravate on the turtles and they attack fast enough that whatever it is doesn’t have time to switch between all attackers. And to add I’ll casually take a stab from the side with a spear from time to time while shooting whatever it is in the head with a bow. Hope this helps. Also on pvp servers these squads wreck people on allos lol.

We have one turtle named carby hero the reason of the is... one night I was playing ark then a noob on a raft came over attacked my dodo,dilo,pterodactyl,and turtle. I heard all my Dino’s attacking I ran back got on a bird picked him up dropped him in a cage then he got reaped into peace’s my my Dilos XD

If it runs out of food, the taming bar resets. Don’t be an idiot like me

I never tamed a prehistoric turtle before

Always try and get a 150 with regular kibble with high or very high healh

A level 130 wild turtle killed me my tribe mate we were both around level 35 and were attacking with cross bows and a level 40+ trike the trike also died we even died both backed up angaist a wall so i tamed a level 20 one now level 49 and its songood even without a saddle it helped me kill a guy who was maybe raiding me and is just great these things cant be killed my friend lvl 70 carno died to 3 or 4 lvl 30 roughly ones its great mid and late game and also a bit early game just an all rounder no reason to not have one fast tame even on 1x tame with mejos its 45 mins and u cant log off for like half of that lol so yea there just to good bye

You don’t need a saddle to ride if you have another person: hop on it’s shell and tell the other person to make it follow him/her. If he has a Dino to ride it will follow him and you will stay on. You can also fit two people on it with or without a saddle. If you are the second person just hop on shell

Use a slingshot and walk backwards to tame. Good for collecting berries, but not much chance else. I do not recommend making them a saddle before a trike.

Was taking on a Sarco with 10 dodo birds and one of these beasts comes up, kills the Sarco and then all 10 of my birds. Was heartbroken. 0/10 recommend these heartless creatures

How to tame a carbonemys

1. Have allies help or pets

2. Collect ALOT a berries ALOT and narcotics

3. Craft a bat and some bolas

4. Find a low level (trust me these guys are powerful)

5. Attack it with your bat allies, and pets

6. Feed it narcotics and berries

You now have a

Carbonemys

It's the biggest pain in the butt to breed these things

You don't need to run that fast cause there not fast

Good tames for easy kill carbo as noob

-carno (hard tame but still minimum player level 21)

-raptor (hit them in the flank repeatedly minimum player level 9)

-trike (just keep knocking it back minimum player level 10-20)

This guy is a tank when you level him up. I got mine at level 3 and now he has over 1000 hp and he is only level 12 all I did was thwak him with the club a lot and I stuffed him with about 120 berrys and it took like 3 minutes.

Yeah I got mine by throwing some rocks (slingshot) at it and I had to give it narcos. Purple berries are best I think but blue are OK too I think ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

How to tame a turtle

Step one: craft a slingshot and gather lots of berries and stones

Step two: find the carbonemys that u want; make sure there are no other turtles around

Step three: shoot the carbonemys with the slingshot

Step 4: feed the berries to the turtle

Step 5: name it and craft a carbonemys saddle
