The turtle Dino is one of the most beginner tames in ark like the silo dodo and even the raptor only go after one to tame or kill it if there’s more of them then don’t kill it or tame it if there’s like more nearby because it attracts all the big turtle dudes these guys are easy tames just put Bearys in them and then there are yours

You can ride them even when they aren’t tamed or have a saddle, you can hop on their back and they don’t care (unless you punch them)

How to tame a carbonmeys

So get 100 berries punch it till it runs away they are weak they take like 4 damage lol and when you tame the they have like 20 damage lol it’s the most defender you have.

I was just hitting 1 of the turtles and I killed it with 3 spers and 15 Arrows so I am better than a turtle and I was Level9 so I win ha I am Alpha of turtles

how to tame:

1. get slingshot

2. get stone

3. start slamming it in the head with stones (using slingshot)

4. wait for it to faint

5. shove berries up it's throat

6. okay

Here is a good tip if you have a scorpion, run up to it with the scorpion and sting it’s head 7-10 times. Wait for it to drop then shove those purple berries down it’s throat. Use about 30 ish berries or the purple kind

I don't know what mode you are playing on but if you need the keratin to make cement paste for a saddle, i sugges you take a pack of dilophosaurs(5-6) as they can easily kill it

Then if you have tamed one( by *NOT* Shooting it's shell) it's advisable you upgrade the health

They eat berries, advisable the red one

Also... you need to have cement paste for it's saddle

Just get a bow and 20 arrows (incase u miss) then hit the turtle in the head a few times with the arrow. Boom dead.

When you accidentally hit any herbivore dinos I prefer you to leave ark and play again then they will be clam down (I hope this will be helpful)this work on any herbivore dinos

It doesnt ise ocygen when in water

Good for tanking all turrets except tek turrets, do whistle attack target or ride it and have a tribe mate feed it veggie cake. I once drained the alphas tribe (they weren't that good tho) turrets and raided them with my tribemates. (But 5 in game days later "You were killed by ducky! (Parasaur) lvl 34!"

It's a ninja turtle, be careful, it might be behind you! I highly suggest elephant tranquilizer.

The best use of turtles in base defense (especially on a primitive server) is a whole group of them. When you get raided they will swarms the gigas and rexes rendering immobile. That allows your plant X and turrets to go to work for longer. And nothing can tank like a well leveled turtle with its shell defense and a (hopefully bumped up) saddle

These are realy common and can be tamed with rockarrots.

You can mostly find them on the beach .

If you attack it or actsadently hit it your going to die if you try to get your stuff it will try to kill you again

I use a medal axe to knock it out

They’re slow, but they will kill you if you’re a low level and you accidentally hit them. If new to the game and you wanna kill one, tame a dilo or two and have them attack it while you jab at it with a spear. Usually does the trick! Up for the newbies!
