What are tips for broodmother lysrix? Tips and strategies for broodmother lysrix in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
Use megatherium the giant sloth they have a rage mode against bugs so they kill the spider mother easily
I did the gamma with 3 rexes that each had 10k health and did about 10k damage one of the rexes lost a quarter of its health and the other two had almost full health and it was easy. I say this because everyone is saying get loads of megatheriums but you just need good rexes. Hope this helps.
19 Therizinosaur's and 1 high lvl yuty should do the trick
20 sloths with 12k health and 850 damage with 52+ armor will do words okay
Bring as many megatheriums as possible but also bring one yutiranus to buff them ide recommend lvl 300 and up for good measure.
Bring big chungus sloths. It’s very easy with them
You actually don't need any rexes in this boss fight. for the gamma I think about 10 high level megatheriums a yutyrannus and a daedon will work. For higer difficulties just get more megas and maybe a bother daedon. Before entering, set the daedon(s) and the yuty to ingnore group whistles, then make tame ordering groups with like 3 to 5 megas each. When you enter the boss fight set the daedon passice healing on (make sure it has a lot of food on it and upgrade food because healing uses its food) and tell the megas to attack. They will all get stuck behind each other so only 4 or so will be dealing damage. Then choose a tame ordering group and make them move to the side of the broodmother, then make them attack. They will start attacking from the side and won't get stuck up front.Keep doing that until your megas surround the boss. The tame you will want to mount is the yutyrannus and then spam the crouch button for the courage buff. Remember minions will ignore its fear debuff. Good luck
It only eats forcetame and it’s saddle is only collectible by mods.
U can use procoptodon to jump on the mushrooms on the island brood arena where it can't get u and u will be safe while the dinos u bring kill it on the ground. Also use comp bow as it does massive damage to it
Use 1 yut,4 daeodons,and 15 megatheriums.
So contrary to popular belief you do not need to have a bunch of mutated megatheriums in order to beat this thing, I made this mistake and wasted my time mutating forever and got op megatheriums which demolished the alpha easily via a single whistle. All you really need is a pair of some decent megatheriums that can breed and breed a bunch and probably imprint them but honestly you might not even need to, its an easy boss for sure.
Ah, the Broodmother. Commonly mistaken for a jellyfish.
On valgureo it spawns naturally.
First this beast is not that hard to kill you can kill it solo with max equipment but if you have no the gut to grind that much get a buff dono (the dono that can buff, boost your tames). Then get some good damage dealers hp can be compromised cause the buff dono will buff your tames hp, then you handle the baby's (minions) of the big hell of that australia spider, so your tames can kill it .. that's it if you are a pro your tames will not die and yes for each difficult you can increase amount of tames I suggest take rexs 1 yuti for buff or if no rex take some hybrid thailaculeo
Why is there a tame section just why
On fjordur you can bring about 8 rexes with atleast 15k health and a yuty and you should be good on gamma
When in the Broodmother Lysrix arena, bring 10 mutated megatheriums, these guys have a huge buff against bugs. Don’t forget, if things go wrong, bola your friends.
Ah yes, my first ever boss fight.
I had brought spinos to fight it, plus a Yuty and a Daeodon. I had read a guide to put Yuty and Daeodon on a different whistle group than attack creatures, so I did just that. But, stupid little me, put the active whistle group on my Yuty and my Daeodon, not my attack spinos. So during the boss fight, my Yuty and my Daeodon were trying to fight the boss all alone without my spinos help. After they died, it went for the spinos. For some reason on passive, they did nothing to stop it. Halfway through the battle, I realized my mistake. I switched to my Spino whistle group and then they started attacking. But it was too late for them and me. The Broodmother had already done too much damage and then shredded what was left of my Dino’s. And then, me.
And that’s how i lost to the gamma Broodmother!
How to tame: ....die, there is no meme
19 rexes health all about 25k dmg 550+ min saddle 86 highest 115, 1 yutti with good enough stats, should have worked fine for the alpha but the yutti ran forwards and attacked first before we could mount and died from the start ,recommend keeping the yutti on passive to avoid a disaster like that (alpha difficulty)
