This thing is great for harvesting berries. It is a must have if you need narcoberries to make narcotics. This dino will provide you with enough berries to last you till retirement (If you put them in a refrigerator ofc, but still).

Once i tamed a Level One Bronto in Singleplayer. WITH A SLINGSHOT. All you need is the high ground.

When I started I hated that brontosaurus I can never be king of the land I tried to kill and taim it but bronto keeps saying no and kills me until I made this tip get a lot of tranq arrows and berries hit it once and run hit run hit run

Simple way to tame the giant bronto is - take flying or fast running pet - find a bronto - take shoot 1 trank arrow then run bit far shoot it again - after you shoot it 16 times it will run then follow and shoot it - now feed it 190 mejoberries ( also take a bit narcotics for emergency ) and now you have a bronto

If you don't have exceptional kibble yet, you can steal wild bronto eggs to make a small amount of it then use it to tame a bronto slightly faster to make it yourself. Eggs are common on black sands on the island or anywhere where brontos are common.

I was in the middle of tameing one of these guys when a spino killed it and me and Ican not find another😢

Don't be discouraged when it adds barely any taming. Because maybe they do take barely any taming points from a bite, but they bite constantly! So it is not as bad as meets the eye. Just have a steady stream of Narcotics and berries and you will be fine!

Heres 10 easy steps to tame a Bronto if ur lvl 21+ :

1. Tame a Ichthyosaurus

2. Put a saddle on it

3. Get about 3 bows (they break easily)

4. Make a TON of tranq arrows (60-100)

5. Go to herbivore island on your Ichthyosaurus

6. Find a Bronto (Stay in the water, and keep a distance, it wont agro)

7. Get it unconscious

8. Make sure you have a TON of berries and some narcotics for it so it doesn't wake up (i recommend having a Trike/ Stego for berries)

9. Feed the berries to it and keep narcotics close if its close to waking up!

10. Enjoy your new Bronto!

just used 3 toxicant arrows from the 20 by taming casteroides quest and 5-10 tranq darts regular longneck and ramshackle crossbow slept in a bed and it was at 75% tamed already mobile btw

Got a lvl 20 baby tamed. Did not track tranq arrows used we started with 90 or 100 and had left over arrows. She didn't fight back just ran around. We use the Natural Babies mod (pc). Grabbing babies and small adolescents is a nice way to grab larger or tougher dinos (if you don't mind mods).

If you are lucky enough, you will be able to kite it easily with a ranged weapon, it’ll flee at some point though.

Super easy to tame on Gen 2. Would recommend using a good bow or Cbow, with tranq arrows. Fly just above it's reach and just keep firing arrows til it's knocked out.

Would highly recommend checking dododex first to see how many arrows you'll need to fire. Depending on how many it takes, you could break your bow/Cbow first. So, make sure your weapon can handle it, as it's a pain to have to repair then run back, and dangerous to make repairs after landing, if not at a safe distance.

Not much will try to attack this giant, so feel free to leave it knocked out wherever, just don't forget where it is. And if you do, there's that nifty new taming tab to help you locate it :)

Hello, you are probably excited to get your first bronto! Well here are some tips! (Keep in mind that this is not a begginer tame). Here is your taming checklist

1. Get to lvl 21

2. Learn to craft a bow and tranq arrows

3. Collect the materials needed for both then craft them

4. Find a bronto

Just get your traqs with you. Make sure to check dododex for clarification. Then you are going to need to find a high cliff that he/she cannot climb. Hit it and run for your life to a cliff.. make sure it stays agrod on you. Then shoot it. When it is sleeping come up to it and put some berries into his/her inventory. If you go quickly then you shouldn't need to feed it narcos. Congrats you tamed your bronto!

It took me 300+ darts to knock lv 300 so prepare yourself before taming one of these in hard mode.

Want to tame a bronto?

there is two effective ways

Taming tactic 1

1. get urself atleast 50-80 tranqualizer arrow (you decide how many but atleast 50)

2. find a tall mauntain that bronto tail cant reach(or head)

3. prepare youreself incase you fall of that tall mauntain

4.bow and shoot the bronto for the tall mountain(make sure its not on the mountain or can climb the mountain)

5.shoot it untill get sleep(make sure dont miss most of the shot because when its high torpor it will run away)

6. when its unconsious, put cabonemys kibble(50) or just many berries(so many berries)

7. Now u tamed it, U GET A BIG PROTECTION MAKING YOU KILL CARNO IN LV.20

8. Grind with it, it can carry atleast 1000kg,also big protection if spinos are around

now Taming tactic 2

1.get yourself a flying dinosaur(make sure its fast)

2. find bronto by flying (u can see its tall head)

3.when you find a bronto(make sure its only one not a pack of 2-3brontos)

4. shoot it with dart or tranqualizer while running(or flying with flying dino)

5. repeat step 4 until bronto fell asleep

6. pit many berries or carbonemys kibble (if on mobile)

7. now u have a funny looking long neck dinosaur

8. name it, i named mine giga chad because it can carry 1500kg, decent damage, and also decent speed

9. grind with it(make sure you fight with it when its a 3v1)

If you wanna get one with ez then go on the island south 2 their are 2 brontosaurus’s in south 2 and big rocks to kill em or Tranq em while on a big rock.

It is not actually hard to tame you just need to be patient and not die or get yeeted into the ocean

This is all you will need to tame a brontosaurus! 20 tanq arrows at most, 100 berries at least and 1 or 2 narcotics. You can kill raptors for tranq arrows.
