I would only get this for the platform saddle if you play with others and need a mobile base for multiple people. If you have access to a Mosasaurus or Quetzal, avoid the Brontosaurus. If you play single player, you should probably go for a Paracer.

If you have a dinosaur that can swim then sit in the water because brontos cant go in water then tranq,shoot with longneck rifle HAVE FUN!!!😁

The brontosaurus saddle can’t hold more than one passenger, But you can put a bunch of chairs for your friends to sit on.

Find one on beach, get at least 20 narc arrows, use crossbow and wait 5 seconds between shots to get full topority.

Doesn't take as long as said to tame maybe about half as long

To knock out, build a small stone cage. Place a foundation, a door and walls. Instead of using walls for the second, use door frames. Get in the cage, and shoot the Bronto from there. They can't damage stone, so no worries. When knocked out, I highly reccomend using Kibble. If you use berries, it takes ages. Don't use vegetables, they're better for making the kibble.

In the past I was has a base near what i normally call "Bronto active spawn" , aka herbivores island, and to be honest these guy don't hard to kill in casual,ease difficulties, use shotgun and riffle (both are primitive version) if careful can defeat Bronto quite ease just don't kill it while it with friends, I don't know if this is just my self but, it some how has similar machanic to triceratops in that they all attacking me/you.

If you find one below level 30 you can just fire 20 tranqs at them and fill ‘em up with berries to get a gigantic, loyal behemoth.

A great way to defeat is to hide under a tree then shoot with about 60 arrows in the neck or head, and when it runs away wait for clam down and keep shooting it. Hope this was a good tip up so new players can see!

I tamed mine with my carbo kibble that was gonna spoil from the carbo kibble quest, crops, and tranq arrows. pretty easy tame when you are prepared. I reccomend herbi island because of the tall cliff. Please ^ if this was helpful!

I think there’s some kind of structure weight reduction when building on these guys. I have a massive base with lots of furniture in it. The platform saddle is 20 weight, and with nothing in its inventory, the total weight on it is 35 weight. Very nice. If you’re playing with friends, go for a Brontosaurus base if you don’t have access to a Quetzal or Mosasaurus.

These are amazing for getting metal. I spawn west 2 (AKA cragg’s island) on mobile bring this to red mountain in the redwoods with a mount like a thirizino or something slow but strong (you can also just bring the bronto and ride that) and harvest some metal (I think bronto can carry about 1300 or even more) and come back. I got my industrial forge this way . Thank my bronto flooposaurus for helping

Get about 50 narcotic arrow thingys, shoot it in the head with them until it flops over, then put like 100 mejoberys in its inventory. Then go to sleep ( in game) and when you wake up, you got a bronto boi.

Over prepare that’s a good way to assure that you don’t lose it also while your Ramon go it listen you schedul cus it takes a while

Good for when you’re moving bases (land ones that is). They have SOOOOOO much weight! Pack up your belongings, grab a few bodyguards and get a move on!

Theese things are so easy to tame it took about 14 or 15 tranq arrow

Bro I didn’t know that u had to aim for the head and he killed my parasour and I used like 16 tranz arrows but now he’s starting to run away so that means he’s almost unconscious

To tame this first you must run away find a crossbow then go to the farthest rock. If it goes wrong welcome to the other side of the continent.

On official, you can tame it with little to no effort.

Step: 1

Find a Bronto in an area with no carnivores

Step: 2

Shoot arrows from a cliff above the Bronto until KOed.

Step: 3

Put around 300 mejoberries in the bronto's inventory and leave for around 3 hours.

Congratulations! You have a new Bronto.
