Take a high level one with a good saddle in the swamp cave with 1 gas mask and a ranged weapon of your choice,not only will you get the artifact and about 3 explorer notes but you'll get cementing paste and chitin for life , only be careful about the arthros (the worm with like 1k legs) because their spit can break your mask and you'll die from the poison

Highly recommended: when you’ve identified a good bug zone, don’t collect the bugs while you’re on the frogs back.. just target the bugs and have him go kill them on command.. The game is just aggravating because the frog has serious serious, aiming problems.

Get 5 of these bois with a chunky megatherium and cryopods, then head over to the swamp cave for A LOT OF CEMENTING PASTE!!

When it’s tamed it can make chitin into cementing paste.

these guys are good for cave running I ran 2 caves with mine so far

get to lvl 100 easy with these on the island, get a decent lvl one (mine was around 185 3.5k health and 370 melee) go into swamp cave and grind it a good couple times, will be even faster with notes! On small tribes I got to lvl 94 doing a note run and doing prob around a quarter of the cave(bc my friend accidentally took off his gas mask while low). be careful though, I would bring mate boosted frogs because athroplueras can kill them kinda easily and you'll have to dump inventory a lot as I got 3k cementing, tons of chitin and meat in my small run

Do not get paste from snails for some reason

It’s tongue is really useful taking out dilos Making its primary focus in swamps and no where else sadly, I wouldn’t recommend bringing them in caves because of there health so if you know any place where bugs are that thrive in that area, then have these creatures wounded and harvest for you, remember to put a tracker on them since they move quite fast

i love them they’re so cute i’m going to breed an army of them

This creature also drops a frog limb that can probably be good to tame something, i don't know

Torpor is way to much but when you get one they can nock out a bronto if right level

Try to stay close to water with these creatures they can regain stamina in water regardless of if you are moving or not. This has helped me flea big from raptors more times than i can count.

A frog is a very fast swimmer and a good knock out tame.

THIS ONLY WORKS ON SWITCH!!! This frog is the best flying mount imo. "How does it fly?" you ask. Well let me tell you about a little something called "b spam" after jumping on the frog, you can spam the b button for a glitch that will not only reset your fall damage meter, but will also prepell the frog back up high enough to recover the height you lost. You'll also gain enormous amounts of speed mid air while doing this, making traversing the entire island go from being a 15 minute flight to a 5 minute hop when done right.

Find bugs, in the swamps and kill them. I killed 5 cans and got 212

I use these guys to tame T. rex because of there speed they will be to fast for the rex so I can shoot the red with tranqs on him and not be hit by the rex
